They are not dumb, they need to get the other half of their target audience to watch somehow. Also if you are female IRL and you played the games as your gender this statement doesn't even make sense, it would be like, of course its a women!

Todd is involved, the PA looks sparkly clean and like 2005 CGI.
In fact, a lot of it looks too clean and like 2005 CGI and bad green screen.

WTF.

Non-human mutants looked ok, I'll give it that.

I always go with female if given the choice in a 3rd person fixed camera game like Elden Ring (if I gotta stare at ass for 1000s of hours its not going to be man-ass) for example but in FPS I go with a dude and try to get them to look as much as me IRL as well if there is a character creator/editor feature. 75% of the time though with end-game gear it doesn't matter what you pick, you are going to be in some freak gear/costume and head-wear anyhow.

Go looking for “AFK: The web series”. A group of players end up in the game, in their characters bodies. They get into people playing characters of the other gender.

A lot of salty people right now, but I'm genuinely excited about this show. I really do hope the best for it. I'll be binge watching if they release all the episodes at the same time.
