Do you have a Recon scope equiped on the weapon ?

Oh yes long recon scope but I might switch it another one, but not sure.
I guess with this long recon scope I can enter vats from far away right?

Usually, people seems to use the reflex scope for a lighter AP cost, but if you change the scope, you lose the not so usefull "Track Target" effect

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but... the night vision scopes that give 'track target' only work in NON-VATS mode?
While you are aiming with it, it gives your bullet a small amount of seeking the target you're aiming at?

Since obviously you cant aim a few feet away from a target and have the bullet hit them, and the scope doesnt pull your gun toward an enemy. This is what I've always assumed anyway

yeah I was thinking to use the reflex but I also liked the fact that I can shoot form far. Thanks

The recon scope doesn't make bullet track the target, it make a small losange that will be visible even through wall to know where the target is

I see, but I meant the range, It has a longer range and I assume I can vats lock enemies from further with that, but I might use reflex after all

Scope doesn't increase range, they increase accuracy, but from what i saw, if you have to choose between effective range or VATS accuracy, range is the better pick because it actually effect the % more than weapon VATS accuracy stats
