voice chat?

I'm trying a new blutooth headset/mic.

In game I set it to push-to-chat. Aparently my team mates could hear me because I asked them to wave but I couldn't hear them. I tried Area, auto, and team. I couldn't hear anyone anywhere on the map and the only ones who indicated they could hear me was when set on Team.

Any help plz?

q: Why would turning the mic on/off change my ability to hear other players? Or is it "it just works"?

The different combinations of your voice settings and their voice settings can cause disconnects. It's best if everyone on the team has the same setting, auto/team/area.

But, if you swap from one setting to another, there is a less than zero probability that voice chat will be totally jacked up.

Yep, I had Black Screen Of Death a few times then noticed my Monitor was turned off....

Ya sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't depends really..

Finally got my working for now every game time.. Don't really use it much though.

You need to go into your pc settings to use you game headset. Under test mic. then you can do troubleshoot if needed. Sometimes pc with auto detect devices.
The bottom right of you screen. right click on the speaker icon. A pop up window Sound setting. You properly have to change you pc speaker to your headset.

My headphones work just fine. I can hear game sounds including NPC voices. The only thing I cant hear are other players.
