where are the chickens to be found?

I've now spent several hours looking for this last critter to finish my challenge but all the places I've looked there's nary a chick or ♥♥♥♥-a-doodle doo to be found... is there a glitch in the game? cause this is getting sickening .... also how the heck do you do the quest for mistaken identity ? I did this quest already and it dosen't register on the challenges... through reading through various sites and wiki's this is a non repeatable quest line even though I'm snarfing mouldy hotdogs, hauling coal and throwing trash through old tires like a champ... is all this part of that glitchy Fallout 76 goodness I've heard so much about?

Most reliable location (that I've seen) is across river from Overseer camp.

I also sometimes see them around the Whitesprings service entrance. The wooded area near there seems to spawn various types of critters.

Only other locations I'm aware of are much further out of the way.

Sometime, and I mean sometimes (not often), I find a settler being chased by a chicken at Charlestons Train Station...

Chickens can be found outside the walls at foundation, in the garden area.

Foundation, right at the entrance
or
Whitespring bunker entrance (on top of it is a small area with either squirrels or chickens.)

In Uncanny Caverns is a caged chicken (Bloody Pecker?), also I think Dagger's Den has a rooster fighting ring.
