Just don’t wanna lose my ultracite Gatling and power armor
Tiny pro tip: if you want to get to full level and get proper gear quickly forget all quests until you get at least to level 50 and just do public and regional events. And I mean all of them, no matter how high tier they are or how many times you die. Join public casual teams, get area weapons like grenades and molotovs and go farm events like Radiation Rumble, Eviction Notice, Seismic Activity, A Colossal Problem, Jamboree etc. You'll get to full level in few days with good pile of scrap, scrip, caps and plans. Get the gear you want and then do the quests, when you have proper gear and lots of perks you can just speedrun them through if you wish. :)
If you start by doing the story quests it will take you way, way longer to get to full level, public events give you so much more XP.
Microsoft and their bleeping naming conventions.
If you play on an XBox console your progress is only available on the XBox console. I am not a console guy, but there is apparently a “cloud” XBox app where you can run games on the PC, but that is not really running the game on PC, just emulating through the cloud.
Microsoft PC Gamepass uses the same servers etc as Steam. THOSE can transfer between Steam and PC Gamepass. Because PCs all use the same server regardless of the client.
PC could transfer freely between
Steam -> Xbox for WINDOWS PC -> Bethesda Launcher
Atoms would not transfer but remain with the one that it was on...
I THINK when they killed the beth launcher they allowed all the atoms to transfer to EITHER OR once
Consoles can only work with themselves and nothing transfers
The atom transfer is part of the migration process. Your one free atom move from Bethesda to Steam.
PC is much better by the way. Just sad I wasted this double XP weekend on Xbox, wonder how often double XP comes around?
4-5 times a year
xmas will be the next one
Remember to either join or make a Int boosting party.
Taking workshops will trigger the defense event for that workshop. Yes it makes you flag for pvp while in the workshop, but most people got burned out on pvp on pc a long time ago. So take a few open workshops and you will have plenty of stuff to do, and they make for free travel points while you own them.
Started this evening, about 8:00. By 10:30 I was a level 27. Rollin pretty good. Hard part is just gonna be getting the weapons and armor
