Floating base need help

Every time when my camp place is taken by someone and i need to re-deploy my base it says that object is "floating" and cannot be placed even if there are no obstacles nearby. I even bought Barn structure for my base and even it "floats".
How could i fix that? This bug was in game for years!

Minimizing the number of camp objects interacting with environmental surfaces is the best way; minimizing crafting benches and other bulky camp objects that have dimensions beyond the obviously visually represented ones, within your saved blueprints, helps too. "Mushroom style" camps were most popular when this was truly an issue.

Now they have multiple camp spots so you can keep at least one CAMP in place and have at least one mobile if you so choose. For mobile camps and blueprints of any kind always throw down some new foundation pieces for easiest placement; snapping blueprints into it/just setting it on top will work a lot better.

If the only reason you are moving your camp is because someone has blocked it. STOP! Just move to a different server and it will be right where you left it. (Unless you're built in a really popular spot.

Yep, relogging in to a different server will save you all of this hassle. Or build a second camp (you get two for free) and swap as needed.
