Three outside the Wayward, in the pen on the right hand side.
Three at Big Bend Tunnel East, direcly in front of the fast travel point.
Three due east of Pleasant Valley Station, at the shore of a lake.
Three brahmin, Matilda, Mertle and Mindy, traveling with Mr Herder in the random encounter Brahmin Wrangler.
Two at anchor farm, in the pen on the right hand side of the house.
One at Lewis & Sons Farming Supply, in the pen near the greenhouse.
One at Big Bend Tunnel West, behind a building on the left hand side upon entrance of the compound.
One at Foundation, to the north off the cliff, at the corner of the fence and the monorail.
Three named brahmin must be escorted during the Free Range event. Names include: Daisy, Bessie, Nuka-Cowla, Bourbon, Earl, Dandy, Sugar Bomb, Grognak and more.
Two Blue Ridge brahmin must be escorted during the Riding Shotgun event at Big Bend Tunnel.
Those are not an utter.
Keep an eye out for the events Free Range and Safe and Sound. At least I'm fairly certain those are lady-brahmin.. For free range you'll be protecting them, as I recall for safe and sound they spawn after the event.
Milking cows is evil. In order to give milk they need to be pregnant or just given birth. Most of the calves (bulls mostly) are excess to the industry. They end up as veal, fertilizer or dog food...
Food is evil, eat air (yes, it's a thing).
Sad day, cows only exist due to their economic purpose (meat, glue, candy, dairy product, and presumably fertilizer) Without humans they wouldn't exist; without that market their populations would drop to near-extinct levels.
The Aurochs is long since extinct in nature but the two surviving descendant species (Cows and Brahman) only survive as domesticated species. Now, the Brahman has some religious and social significance in India that insures their survival but there aren't exactly the same supports for the Cow. Their end would be assured by a fully vegan populace and their survival is intrinsically tied to dairy production - the other industries can easily be replaced but the only widely accepted substitute for Cow's milk is Goats, a creature... one tenth of the size? for an equivilent or greater feed consumption.
With genetics the caring Cow may yet be saved. There is no reason we cannot some day entirely eliminate the veal industry by engineering cows to birth much fewer males to females so baby moo moos don't have to be butchered.
