Every Endgame Viable Weapon I've Rolled - Unbiased 4 Build Rundown
So I'm a bit of a weapon master player in Fallout 76

I carry every weapon I have at 90% weight reduction on me at all times, and always have a full stash and store front to the point where I have to force myself to spend caps, and can't wait to start dumbing every daily reset.

So to that end let's talk about every endgame viable weapon I've rolled for 4 builds:

shotguns, pistols, heavy, and bows.

I'll also evaluate the unique in these categories.

Heavy:

1. foundations vengence - pre rolls bloodied and explosive what else do you need? Bad ammo economy to dmg ratio but it excels at mob clearing and I would never be sad to have an ally on the team with one.

2. armor piercing speed gattling gun - without the speed boost don't bother, with the speed boost the 95% armor stripping will sing combined with the high dmg and ammo economy a real raid killer with a huge cip

3. armor piercing accuracy flamer - headshot for 200 dmg unmitigated a tic is nasty stuff with flat 100 dmg, a 100 round clip, and a very fast fire rate and range beyond what you would think

4. quad plasma caster - 20 round is a real hindrance for this high dmg weapon, try taking on a simple swarm of ghouls and you'll notice how badly you get reload locked in no time. 80 rounds at 300 dmg? That's more my speed thank you.

5. quad cryolator - slow is pretty much the only real "debuff" in fallout 76 so being able to slow lock a world boss for like 20 people is massive impact. Also amazing dps too at 100 rounds.

6. lmg's and 50 cals - gonna lump these together they work great explosive, two shot, or quad, but the terrible ammo economy makes them more of a fun whip out weapon than a main weapon even with ammo printing.

7. boom stick & overkill - these daily ops exclusives are best in slot enough said, amazing weapons

8. speed grenade machine guns - again the ammo economy is lacking and you need good rolls because the unique is terrible. Armor piercing plus speed is pretty decent where you have that 95% stripping plus serious dmg saturation over a large area.

9. energy miniguns - gauss is best is class, then plasma, and laser is last, dmg breakdown is like 100 laser - 130 plasma - gauss is a **** ton

10. laser pepper shaker - ironically kind of better than laser Gatling's if you can find a quad, I haven't yet that's like a 40 000 cap gun if it has like double lucky or something.

11. grand finale - basically an infinite ammo efficiency version of a rocket launcher. Shoots 3 rounds with double shot super explosive and terrible accuracy. Duel wield with a high accuracy roll for ranged sniping for maximum efficiency.

Bows:

1. explosive aristocrat bow - this one's real easy 250 dmg base is low but you can take that dmg into the stratosphere with stealth bonuses plus crit plus sniper rifle accuracy

2. burning love compound bow - can someone confirm if you can re-roll and keep fire dmg? Because if true after many re-rolls this will be best in class eventually, if not it's actually below average.

3. crossbows - best ammo economy but lowest dmg still nice to have one in your pocket for when you run out of arrows

Pistols:

1. gauss speed pistol - best in class does 300 dmg with a box clip and huge aoe, you want to dmg stack and then roll fire rate which massively increases charge speed

2. armor piercing western - if you roll explosive plus reload on top it's basically as good as it gets. Crits for 350 on headshot for world boss, ap cost is sub 20, and ammo economy is great you could basically main this through the entire game,

3. unique brotherhood 44 - starts with two shot plus explosive, making it a great starter choice for your build and it's only a little worse than the western.

4. nuka world revolver - even primed this weapon isn't amazing, it isn't the reload because it's like 50 % plus 20% from speed demon which is lightning fast even 1 bullet at a time, The dmg is just low compared to the other options, so you would need to re-roll.

5. powder pistols - yeah I make fun but honestly these guys can do the work. Bloodied plus accuracy plus reload is king. You'll watch those dmg number sky rocket on crit with adrenal reaction.

6. pirate punch - slightly worse than the rolls you'll swim in but still very good

Shotguns:

Slightly more limited similar to bows

bloodied combat shotgun - you'll be in the face of enemies all day so really easy to see the benefits here, duel wield combat shotguns for maximum efficiency you can't armor pierce or top dmg so cripple every limb.

kabloom - similar to combat shotguns duel wield kabooms for maximum efficiency. Even without the poison dot these puppies are near best in class, but you can find better roles sometimes.

gauss shotgun - these guns are dumb, they have like rocket aoe potential and rifle range and dmg. Makes me wish I didn't go raiders for wastelanders.

So in conclusion what's that like 20 endgame viable weapons?

and you want to argue which bloodied ar is best

I found that all in like 2 weeks just by properly evaluating drops and builds instead of mass tossing and re-rolling 1 gun for 3 years.

yeeesh, this game is awesome but a few of it's players can be a little simple minded.

4- plasma caster quad? why? is one shot weapon, if need more magazine then something is wrong.

5- quad cryolator? no no no, ts better.

7- ok, but how many ammo do you carry? very heavy to carry around.

10- about quad pepper shacker, thats what happens when noobs know what is the correct roll, they live in a dumbster with only selling crap noone is interested and when they learn what is good, bam!, outrageous prices without knowing how the market goes.

9- about laser weapons, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wq5_6pWYrm8 she did the entire run with her bloodied laser rifle, also the only player i know with max lvl.

2- you cant re-roll burning love, only uniques from the 2 cryptid events.

3- crossbows are very slow, bows with a correct build can make 1200/shot and reload faster, but crossbows...

Shotguns, if you are not very close, their dmg go down, make a try, vats far away and vats in very close combat, one can make 40 dmg and the other 500, why? distance.

Because Pete and Titan have like 80% dmg resistence, so your one shot weapons dps goes to crap.

So with 80 shots I can drop into a Titan event and solo a phase with 1:30 left on the clock and save the nuke for everyone.

Soo 300 dmg one shot becomes 60dmg, 60 dmg times 80 is more than 60 dmg times 20 etc. Math math math, this is how endgame works.

So if it were possible to sell a prime quad plasma caster it would be worth alllll the monies, so I guess it's good that it's untradeable then.

I literally bought a quad double vats 44 for 1000 caps lol people are so wrong in their weapon evaluations I literally pee myself laughing

I slapped a prime receiver on that thing so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fast, thank you for my highly accurate low ap hand cannon with 24 bullets feel free to sell me more god rolls for 1000 caps please

But I guess if you guys want to pay 10,000 caps for your 10th bloodied ar be my guest?

As a vastly inferior version of the gun...

The base damage on a plasma caster without a competent build should be 1200-1500 damage per shot with 2600-3000 damage crits... you should be seeing that gun pop off triple digits on the nuke bosses... and it still sucks for DPS

Its a single shot burst damage weapon NOT a DPS gun and its fire rate is so atrociously slow it doesn't need extra ammo


I've got guns on my intelligence max exp scoreboard build (not my max dps one) does 400+ damage consistently vs the queen per shot and I'll get in 20 shots to your one... these weapons one shot supermutants in westtek

On my dps build that rockets up to 550 to 700 per shot vs the queen or earle or titan... you can literally see the healthbar retreat to the left...

Even my PvP build which is less damage optimised than my scoreboard build hits the nuke bosses for 300 per hit


Then no one would pay caps for any halfway decent weapon... and I do mean ANY... I mean seriously I have 40k caps at all times. I have a few billion in caps worth in rare plans, a few quadrillion in caps worth in rare apparel, and something approaching infinity in weapons

But yeah if you are looking to offload godrolls please post them here I'll give you 20k caps for each and everyone one that is actually a godroll

Its nice ppl make his own assumptions, but game is more harder than you think, i can start making maths too but you know? i prefer to play.

About dmg mitigation and AA stuff, or bloodied and Quad, you get the point, but forget beth already did what you are talking, and put some caps everywhere, and example? the AA cap is around 74%, you will never get more than that, no matter what the perk cards you have or the weapon.

About bloodied and quad, yup they make a ton of dmg, but they use some multiplicative ways to make it than additive (quad), that's because quad rocks in specific weapons, because your config (build + buffs) makes the job, the easy example is making a crit build with railway and voila.

PS: Sorry phantom i dont have booze to share, but maybe op have some to make writing worth it xD

if you did a flat dmg of 1200 per shot you would be hitting world bosses for flat 240's. So screen shot me a series of non headshot non crit 240's on titan and then I'll believe you.

Otherwise your full of imagination land

Or you've literally broken the matrix and do more dmg then 4 players combined, but I'll lean towards the bs route if you don't mind.

We have been trying to tell you that your comprehension of the min/max damage of this game is pretty flawed

I have solo killed earle in the blink of an eye... and that was before even more powerful gear to kill him has become obtainable... I would imagine that he can be killed 2-3 seconds faster than my best time... granted I was able to kill him before he could mutate, so maybe now with the extra health pool even with a better possible gun than existed then the kill time wouldn't be as fast.

I'm hitting nuke bosses for 550-700 per hit on my dps build and hitting them quickly. The worst part about SBQ is getting her to land. The worst part about Earle is waiting 5 minutes for it to start. The worst part about the titan is that you have to melee then shoot him... plus he disappears underground instantly when he takes damage then heals a lot of what he took... I.Sheep the worst part of him is how quickly he breaks. --- My dps build is literally min/max for the best damage possible with things.

my non DPS PvP build hits them for 300 and its optimised for QoL and survival... its approaching min/max for survival... but since I play legit I've only for one sentinel PA part rolled so far... And I would do Union if I was going to go again, but strangler poison is quite fun in PvP too...

my exp build is more DPS orientated but sacrifices min/max dps for literal min/max int and so only does 400+ per hit to the nuke bosses

And just to again stress
I am talking PER HIT visible on the numbers the game shows... So after the calculations and resistances are added

Teh best weapon for my build is Lever action riffle Armor pierceing Crit damage, vats critical charge
