Now the game is guess which item was listed at 8, 000 caps and what 3 items were purchased for less than 6, 000

1. A Brahmin Plushy
2. Ops Only Generator
3. Ops Only Weapon Schematic
4. Quad Pepper Shaker

If you guessed Brahmin plushy you were right...

Like what is this person high? Are there legitimately people paying that for a stuffed animal when I can get 2 ops only schematics and an exceptionally rare heavy weapons roll for 2, 000 nd less?

Like I just sold a bloodied bear claw for 3,000 good roll too, like for that person who is presumably running a melee build I just made his day with a cool new weapon.

But man I just can't wait to add that Brahmin plushy I didn't buy to my not ever happening camp

Please don't go off common knowledge for your pricing, go off common sense, sell things people want at prices they like, so they can get the things they need.

The fact is anybody has the right to place whatever item they wish at whatever price, just like you have the right to look elsewhere.

If I stumble upon a camp selling something that I know is worth more, I buy them out and post at my rate, I have bought out numerous Serum vendors that have been underpriced and made good caps for doing so, the seller got the price they wanted, and I still made a profit (win, win).

My guess is I am missing what you're trying to get at, but if someone has an item you know to be overpriced just move on until you find what you're willing to pay.

I got no clue what is right sums for stuff, so i have not a single time sold anything above 1000 caps ever, I just put low prices and hope people buy it off me.

I'm always between 30k and nearly 40k caps so if I need 10k caps, it's there ... .

I guess you have not lived long enough to have had to shop for a Cabbage Patch Doll back in the 80's for your kids or grandchildren. Entire Corporations have Risen from the selling of Toys and Teddy bears. Have not seen many Corporations selling Bloodied Bear Claws lately.

Far more people are selling the Ops plans and Heavy weapons than people selling Plushies for base decoration.

I've bought "trash" level equipment for massive amounts of caps, just because it was what I was looking for. If I am looking for a Berserker's, Last Shot, 250 DR on Reload Single Action Revolver, I may pay 10k for any Single Action Revolver with Last Shot, but I ain't paying a single Cap for a Quad Peppershaker.

OPs plans in my own experience don't really sell for high prices. I sell them in my vendor all the time along with other OPs plans, but never for anything even close to 1000 caps. I used to list the OPs weapon plans for 1000 each as they don't drop often, but they just never sold. I can barely get the things to sell for 500, they tend to sit there forever.

The pepper shaker is a niche weapon. If it was just a 1 star quad, I'd personally list it for maybe 500? If it was a three star and a great roll then sure, I'd list it for much higher. But even then it's a pepper shaker, it's more of a "fun" gun. I don't see someone busting the bank for one, and I say that as someone who loves the gun.

The plushie on the other hand is a seasonal drop. You can only get it during the christmas event if I recall correctly. I wouldn't buy it for that much, but compared to a pepper shaker or OPs weapons which are generally meh and not super desirable, I would say the plushie is worth the most.
