Just grabbed like 20 cobalt and violet flux what do i do with it?

If you don't have high radiation fluids, hardened mass, and glowing mass as well you can watch them turn into spoiled vegetables.

You use them to make Stable Fluxes. Which are then used to make high end plans like jetpacks and calibrated legs on power armor.

You can use them to craft stable fluxes, but you need glowing mass, hardened mass and high-radiation fluids too. Those drop from enemies inside the nuke zone. Raw fluxes aren't used for anything else (you can consume them though) and they spoil so unless you have the extra materials I'd just sell them to vendor bots for caps.

It's used for crafting. Ammo, serums, underarmor and so on. If you have enough convert it to stable flux at a chemist's bench or it will go inert and be useless.

Minor correction:
Watch them turn into inert flux which can royally ♥♥♥♥ up your carry weight if you are clueless.

However:
It does have uses, like being an effective thirst reducer and giving slight sickness resistance.
Edit: Someone on reddit straight called it "Chad Water".

If you want/need to craft stable fluxes I'd recommend getting other materials first, they don't spoil so you can go collect the raw flux when you have enough of the other stuff.
One stable flux requires 1 hardened mass, 1 glowing mass, 1 high-radiation fluid and 10 raw flux of same type, meaning 10 raw violet flux to get 1 stable violet flux and so on.

Now (1st time you harvest something), the two kinds you have harvested appear in your craft menu for stable flux. There are 5 of them.

For me high radiation fluids seems to be the rarest, so I keep the other two in line with how many fluids I've got stashed. If you're not careful you'll end up with 30 glowing mass and only 2 fluids, and the masses are heavy. When you have enough of those, then worry about picking the flowers.

As someone who has crafted well over 800 of each flux myself I agree that high rad fluids are always the thing i am short of. I can have 150-200 of the other two masses and will still have maybe only 40-50 high rad fluids.

I usually sell the excess masses for like 20 caps as there is no point having way more of one than the other. You want the same number of all 3.

Just go to the chem bench and check in crafting nuked flora, all your fluid and massses quantities are shown easiest way.. once you have enough equip green thumb and skulk around a nuke zone collecting raw flux. If you're just low on one ingredient killing some mobs there can get you some.
