My father used to do work in different mines all around Australia and surrounding countries doing NDT analysis of welds on large machines and i got to see many real life Tonka toys when i was a kid including many BWEs. Just nothing even close to the size of the one at Mt. Blair.
These were used just about in my back yard... similar to the one portrayed in the game. Enjoy :)
Keep exploring!!!! Your going to find out that nearly almost all of this is based off of real life places in West Virginia. Pumpkin House, Camden Park, & White Springs Resort just to name a few are real life places
Then I noticed the smaller crane on top of the excavator and see the tiny lil car as the camera pans past.
I have questions on the production of the wheel itself (the enormous, single piece of metal that makes up the central disk of the excavator arm) but I believe that will likely replace any free gaming time I have today with hours of wikipedia reading... Seeing is believing, anyway.
Nice post Nord
