Indeed my friend, from what i see is: everytime Eviction Notice events pops up? There are always so many players, even players lower then lvl10 and i will let them die and do not ress them (no place for them at lvl 10 and lower) but that is another discussion ;)
This works for the bullets... not sure if explosive damage is also boosted but I'd assume it is. Having explosive and trying to fight at point blank range isn't ideal if you want to maximise that quirk.
Of course you could just have no bullets to get the 'melee' boost but there are better options now. Oddly the melee option is stronger than the bullet option anyway...
Attach a shredder and fight at point blank range to get the most out of your gun. This makes the accelerated barrel a good choice as it has the lowest range.
If you're very lucky it would in fact be better to roll vampires explosive
But chances are low
That way you can stack demolitionist like normal, and just not die face tanking dmg without power armor, and not dying is kinda good.
I would say that the only real distinction between an endgame player vs a midgame player is how much they die to nothing, not how much dmg they do.
