Is there a way to tell if I have found every location on the map besides comparing my map with an online map?

Climb all of the lookout towers and examine the railing. It will drop locations on your map.

Check your compass while travelling by foot. Not discovered location or place will be kind of "empty" with contour.

But for the overall map, there's always a place missing, lol ... , I have found Tanagra Town only after "many" hours in this game ... !!!

Wasn't there a bug where abandoned bog town (not the workshop) did not have a map marker so you could not actually get all locations found for the atom challenges? Seem to recall something like this.

May have been from launch and since been fixed. However I know that despite being there many times i have never unlocked abandoned bog town if there is indeed a marker there.

it stated that if you registered you may automatically compeare your map and interactive map. although i never register or give my account to any web site (i am a bit paranoid maybe), so i dont know.

edit: it seems a bit old. ie: doesnt show nuka world.
