exiting power armor removes armor pieces

So new thing that bethesda broke, i cant exit power armor without it removing ALL the pieces. THEN, only sometimes the pieces show up in the armor tab so i can put them all back on. Have to quit to menu and back in for the pieces to show up in the armor tab again, but never automatically reapplied to the chassis.

Can confirm this only happens with miners armor

Excavator PA? I use that on my PA character and have exited and entered it many times today with no issues at all.

Happened to me once, thankfully all armor pieces were just in my inventory as if I had unequipped them from the power armor frame.

Find a new chassis to put your armour on.

This behaviour is like an old update that changed how chassis are saved to the player.

Back then all parts were removed and characters moved to the nearest station.

Like i said it is only for excavator armor. My t65 works fine.

As Mooman says it may take a chassis change to make right, haven't tried it.
But the bug is real, i've dealt with it all day.

Need excavator for mining bonus.
