Thats purely on time you spend on it (played time ingame). The XP boosts and food just make it easier for people without that much of a time. But as you understand now, you are also using the repeatable XP feature. If you wouldn't it will take you approx. two months by completing every daily and weekly challenge (faster with Fallout first). I'm at level 85 now without not much of an effort (certainly not west tek and not first).
I know its faster with first. If I can afford it low income then so can you so dont cry to me about how long it takes you to level or clear the board. I .... at this game. If I can do it anyone can. Also I cleared last seasons board on both accounts my alt of which did not have fallout first only main account & same amount of time so its just as easy to do if you have the free time to play. I support the games I love. To each their own.
I'm not sure if we understand each other :) - you stated : "I cleared my board on this account in like a week" and this means you finished the board the same way as someone running the West Tek repeatedly, but you just performed different activities. Anyway both ways depends on repeateble XP :) So both ways are time consuming. Because each season during three months you got each day and week a lot of new points to earn during challenges which most of it you can't use if you finished the scoreboard in one week. If they would remove the repeatables, you wouldn't be able to finish the scoreboard that "fast" (its a relative to spend 24*7 hours in one week or 2 hours a day for some weeks).
And yea I don't need the First its not much of an benefit for me its affordable for me, but why should I buy it if I won't use the full pottential of it. I don't hoard scrap, don't craft too much and if I need somthing I grind it. Also as mentioned I'm 85 level on scoreboard without much of an effort and I'm definatelly not going to finish it fast because there wouldn't be much to do for me in the game. There isn't any other content I'm interested in and didn't finished already. Got all reputation, got all steam achievments. Expeditions - got all Union PA plans and there are a few more camp related plans for stamps, but I will got them eventually from weekly drop or buy them. I don't mind to support the game, but my support is that I bought the game on release which was buggy mess and I still play it after four years, also occasionally I buys somehing I like from the shop. As mentioned there isn't enought regular content in this game to reasonable invest in development.
Pretty much. Without FO1st and not counting repeatables, it's 2500/day, plus 9000 for the weekly challenges, for a grand total of 26500/week, and given the total SCORE needed to go from zero to 100, 221475 points, that yields 8.35 weeks, so 8 weeks plus 2 days or so. But, we've already had two double-score weekends and it's of course absurd to think that you could complete those daily/weeklies without at least some repeatables. I normally get at least 3 repeatables per day in doing my rounds, bringing the total to 7.75 weeks (call it 53 days). I cleared last season in 43 days and the one before in 49 days, but both of those involved a decent amount of explicit XP farming (at least one double-WestTek run per day, plus every effort to hit Radiation Rumble whenever it popped; the much-maligned Expeditions are great for XP as well, even soloing and not getting full-optional completion).
Indeed, so if someone stated they did the board in one week without West Tek its still a hard core grind or maybe ... it isn't actually truth :)
I'd believe it, actually. WestTek may be the EASIEST XP farm, because it's so many mutants in contained, repeatable locations with a very fast refresh time, but there are enemies and events which can yield as much per enemy/completion but they're a bit more spread out. I could see someone server-hopping, dropping nukes, soloing SBQ/Earle, and hopping again, or maybe just repeating Daily Ops all day. I'm sure we have a few on this board who would be only too happy to share a few of their own secrets. The bloodied build that maxes XP also maxes damage output and I'm sure they have put just as much thought into their XP-earning routine as they have their INT/XP boost.
Sure, I understand there are ways to do that aswell and thank you for mentioned the bloodied build, didn't realised it gives more XP. But the grind.. its worse wasting then spend the time in actual work, can't imagine someone foud out this as "fun", its more of a macho thing I suppose :) The scoreboard is here for three months and isn't it more fun to play one or two hours a day to just relax and even play something else, then grind the board for week and then do same grinding for two months just because you like the game? Yea, yea I got it everybody have their own motivation. I would do that possibly only in a situation that I won't be able to play for three months, but again is there anything so cool on scoreboards to have and can't live without?
