berry mentats price check?

Ive got a bunch i want to start selling at my player camp whats the price going for nowadays?

i dunno, when I craft them I get between 2500 and 4500 in about an hour (dependant on verdant luck on the regular mentat components) Haven't made any in a while still have a good 800 on my guy

I've traded 800 & 1200 for legacies before
I've done god rolls for 500 thrice, 750, 950, 1250, and 2000 before too

Probably 50-100 caps each is still common? People are lazy and don't know how incredibly easy you can mass bulk create them

35-50 caps TBH is what people sell them for, also B-Mentats are still broken, glowing effect dosnt work.

PTS has it working again

but it just means that 12 other things will have been broken fixing that one

its the Bug-Festa version of a bakers dozen, they fix one thing they broke and break 12 new ones in the process

I farm them daily and sell them in bulk for 100 to 125 caps each. I usually list them on Market76 at 100 caps per berry mentat and have someone interested in buying them within 10 minutes. If I list them in my vendor store its usually at 80 to 100 caps each. At that price in my vendor store I will sell out of a few hundred within a couple hours.

As far as the trading community goes, the general value is 100 caps each.

Step 1 know the farming routes pretty hands down, where to go to get all the components

Step 2 make sure you are using the mechanic buff (its like a 25% or so chance to get it and you can't get it all the time) + magazine buff (backwoods 4) + green thumb

Step 3 if you are lucky you land verdant in the greenzone (forest) as mentat firecaps are the limiting factor usually (you can server hop to increase your chances but its not really predictable what causes it TTBOMK)

Step 4 - make sure to craft with super duper and the chemist or whatever adds more chems one

Brain fungus is easy to get but you also need a metric tonne of it, thankfully its so plentiful in so many places that you can reset the pickups just off this alone - takes so much that they are the second most in demand thing I have to find for it

Fireberries IIRC were around the arktos pharma and the very southern area (a few hundred
there) - many many hundreds these are never an issue for me

Firecaps are rarer - the arktos pharma/lighthouse are about the only natural spawns, but you can find a good bunch in the elevator bucket area - also not always the easiest to see, a good 60 or so spawn locations... by far the most in demand part of it

carrot flower is literally everywhere in abundance, and you don't need a tonne so its never an issue - thousands abound on the map and they jump out at you

starlight berries are actually pretty abundant, the deep, arktos pharma and south of it area, and the firehall down south have a lot probably a good 150 of them when you know the spawns


IF you just do greenthumb, chem and super you'll get a good 1200-1800 an hour
Add in a the magazine and ally buff and its 2500+... get a verdant on the firecaps and it rockets up

When I do it I just stop by and see if I get the ally buff, if I don't oh well I do other stuff, when I do its on

Most people looking for them go to trading subreddits rather than vendor hopping. If you have more than 50 btats just make a post in a place like that asking 100 caps each and they will be sold out immediately.

at 10 caps most people would instant buy them (granted they can be duped right now so hundreds of trillions isn't uncommon)

Porky pies on step 2. None of those stack. You cant get more than double yield when picking flora. Even during verdant. Tested all of those methods months ago and again the other day.

yikes all the drugs drugs drugs. I had a 12 year old about 6 months ago who came to my camp and was telling me all about this just like you guys. Well I don't use many of the drugs but all I could think of was a Good Chemist he will be some day "In Prison".

50 caps for your hardwork. Sell them in bulk. 100 caps each? certainly kinda useless for end game player, probably for pvp yokels

I didn't see this post until just now.
My berry mentats finally did sell. Of course I didnt have a great deal of them maybe like 20 of them. Could be why they sat for so long.
If I get more will try to let ya know. :)
