looking for plans for a .50 cal prime receiver.

met a couple of really nice lads, somehow none of our friend requests went thru and i lost contact. they gifted me an ultracite .50 cal thats an absolute monster, only thing is i cant craft the ammo. go figure. willing to buy and or trade for the plans. just let me know if you have a cap price or looking for anything specific id be more than happy to help. no need to worry about ammo. until you get the plan, just do daily ops and pitt expeditions and you will come away with large amounts of ammo after doing them. just don't wildly spray all the time and go for head shots.

was farming daily ops, sometimes those mutations are alittle unforgiving. ill try the pitt, havent done it yet. thanks tho

Don't these plans only drop from scorch beasts and in particular from SBQ?

Ammo can be crafted from flux, which you can get from nuked zones, but you'll also need three types of other materials that can only be obtained from enemies in nuked zones.

Alternatives are (when you have the weapon equipped, this is important):
1. Treasure hunter pails normal and up
2. Mutated (party) packs from mutated events
3. Daily Ops
4. Pitt missions
5. Generally from ammo stashes in the world as long as you have the weapon equipped
6. From melee enemies

^ i'm not entirely sure all the possible drops for the plan, but i know all the ones that have dropped for me has been from the queen.

Yea thanks for emphasizing. Having the weapon equipped in these circumstances is key.

You don't need the Prime receiver Plan in order to craft Ultracite .50 cal ammo. The Plan is to put the Prime receiver on .50 cals that don't already have it.

To craft the ammo you will need Stable Violet Flux. One Flux per batch of ammo. In the Tinker bench scroll all the way to the bottom for the Ultracite ammo listings. Once you have any gun that uses Ultracite ammo you will automatically have a listing to craft that type of ammo.

As stated above you can either farm blast zones or buy Stable Violet flux from player's vending machines.

pretty sure you need one weapon that you have learned the plan for a prime receiver for to craft ultracite ammo in that caliber

Nope, you only need the weapon to use Ultracite ammo in order to have the Ultracite ammo listing in the Tinker bench and to be able to craft it.

*I use exclusively Ultracite TSE .50 cals.

*If you don't know the Plan to make .50 cals one of the vendor bot factions sells them for about 1,500 caps. Not sure which faction. Check all the vendor bots in the Whitespring mall and in Watoga. One of them should have the Plan for sale.

ron im sorry if this comes off any way, however getting the prime receiver plan also unlocks the ultracite ammo crafting recipe. you cannot craft the specific ammo without it.

ron that is extremely kind of you to do that for me. are you looking for anything specific, plans, guns, ammo, caps. i spent like 3 hours this morning grinding the daily ops spamming grenades and trying to kill with as little ammo as possible lol
