New to the game, how does the atomic shop sell it's items?
I have some points that I've earned through the current event and leveling up and wanted to spend them on a good worthwhile item and i came across a video from a short while back showing that there was a tree sap collector for 500 points but I can't find it in the shop? Did I miss my chance completely like was it a limited time event type of thing?

Side question; would the ammo converter be a good choice to buy instead? I'm only level 17 but I have an abundance of shotgun shells

Ammo converter is a trap, it can be obtained in game, other items rotate weekly/monthly, you can also directly send a support ticket to Bethesda and choosing any item from the shop ever to purchase, it will take a few days before the transaction is over(you need to have enough points in your account).

I would say that ammo converter is the thing to buy first if you dont have the payed subscription
I'ts usefull like the name said to convert excess ammo to the ammo you use ( in a very slow way )
On tip that i can give is to craft rail ammo via steel scrap on the ammo crafting table and dump it into the ammo converter for your favorite ammo

The only, and I repeat only reason to buy any plans from the Atom Shop that is also available in game is the fact that buy with Atoms and every character has access to the plan. In game purchases are done on a per account basis.

But for now save your atoms. The Ammo converter is garbage and as soon as you spend them on something you settle for, something you really want will come along.

Yes, it's good to note that some items from the atom shop can be bought in the game with in game currency called Bullion. Ammo converter is one of them, the Water well is another one of those. Items you purchase through the atom shop are available for all your characters and items you buy in the game itself are for that character only. Most atom shop items are atom shop only though. but do check to be safe.

Let me add this since it hasn't been mentioned yet.
I converted 6000 rounds of 5mm to .45 cal.
I only got back 600 .45 cal.
I will never use the converter again. Its a waste.

I would have been much better off selling the 6000 5mm in my vendor.
Then buy 6000 .45 cal from someone else. 1 for 1.

It's a good place to get rid of your missiles and mininukes tho if you don't use them. Sure you can sell ammo, but some ammo will never be sold so you might as well put it in the converter.

Yes, that tree sap collector left the shop around 2 weeks ago, if I remember correctly.

Personally, I love building so buildable objects are my main sink of atoms. You can purchase what you wish, just do not buy lunchboxes, scrap kits, and other cheap (50 atoms or less). Not including profile pictures, you can earn them by playing the game and doing events, and even using gold bullion.

The Atomic Store uses a weekly FOMO system. Every Tuesday USA time new items will be rotated through.

The upcoming week is posted here:

You can also use the support website to request from a set list items that aren't currently available. It's a bit of a hassle and as it's a support site it may take hours to weeks to have a request fulfilled.

Good to know, thank you! I didn't know how often it rotated
