Fallout 76

Connect the Atomic Shop to Fallout 4
Hey guys, I am posting this both as a suggestion and also as a question. Firstly, does anyone know where I can find a forum to post this that the Bethesda devs might ACTUALLY see it? And second, as the title suggests, the developers should seriously consider connecting the Atomic Shop to Fallout 4.

Now hear me out on this. Fallout 4 is already finished, it's completed, its DLC is out, it's done. However, as we all know, fallout 76 uses almost all of its architecture, assets, physics engine, and pretty much everything else. We also know that a HUGE amount of Fallout 76's Atomic Shop items are building items and assets, something we almost NEVER get to use because of the massively restrictive construction limits of our C.A.M.P.s. So it occurred to me, what if they connected the Atomic shop and the player crafting recipe lists to the player's overall Bethesda player account, making it accessible for use in Fallout 4? It would be relatively simple to port over most of the Assets, and it would give some real meaning to all those items, base building components, armor and weapon blueprints that we never use, and more.

Basically this would mean that any building, armor, weapon, power armor, or mod blueprint that you unlock in Fallout 76, eigther through the game or the Atomic Shop, would become available in Fallout 4 for use in settlement building and improvement. This would include items unlocked with gold, atoms, or just by playing the game and would suddenly give all of us Fallout 4 players a real reason to get more involved in Fallout 76. This would also basically turn Fallout 76 into the multiplayer portion of Fallout 4, and thus take a good portion of the sting of its poor release by allowing the players to make use of its many rewards in a game that is both more complete, and can make FAR better use of those assets.

Imagine being able to build those massive underground vault sections from Fallout 76 in your settlements where you can populate them with actual NPCs and build your own towns. Imagine using the trading and vendor systems from Fallout 76 to facilitate more advanced trading with NPCs and settlements. Imagine being able to see half of your hard-earned unlocks actually being used regularly and not just sitting in your inventory. To actually be able to put those Gold earned weapons and armor to use on settlers and as base defenses and actually have them readily available without the restrictions of the weight limitations to storage. It wouldn't even be hard to do since literally everything in Fallout 76 is based around Fallout 4s gaming engine. All the devs would have to do is set up a unlock checklist on the player profiles that detects and unlocks items that you earned in Fallout 76 and makes them downloadable in a new menu in Fallout 4, something they have to do anyway so their servers can tell what you can and cannot build normally.

What do you guys think?

I think you would have more success posting on either the Bethesda Reddit, or discord. But at the same time, I would spend resources extending 76 and not FO4.

With mods you can already do that and more. Hell, the Vault 88 is basically the build your own vault questline already.

Don't think there's really any point in your suggestion. Although some of the items from Fallout 76 would be cool to have in Fallout 4. Haven't looked at the mods recently, but there's so many options already.

You can try, but i dont see it, when an mmo closes you lose all your digital stuff, making your idea makes for bethesda spending more money, when the time arrives and they want to delete all, they must maintain all those unlockables for fallout 4 with no more benefit for them. As an idea, try to propose a rent to keep those items up and forget to comment anything to give for free, again, its an investment for them aka spend money, and money is the exchange.

And then quake in fear when they hear the ding if an incoming email.

This is where the modding community steps in.

Probably against all sorts of legal docs but there are those out there adding FO76 stuff to FO4 for 'free' (pay with your soul).
