Nope it isn't at all. Only things that were good with TSE were legacy explosive energy weapons. Railway rifles are ok due to the extra explosive damage they get over other guns but that's about it. I'm sure there may be some guns that i have not tried though
From what I've gathered is that two shot is currently acting as a multiplicative increase instead of the correct additive increase for energy weapons.
This is especially noticeable for 'double bugged' alien blasters that get a further increase as the projectile is considered explosive and boosted by demolition expert.
Correcting bugs is what companies do. It should not matter if it was a beneficial bug, a bug is a bug and need to be squashed. This is especially true for live service games to ensure a level playing field.
