Why am I getting diseased in marine wetsuit, chinese armor, and power armour from the environment.
I do not understand this plus I have environmental cards and such. Also how is it that mobs hundreds of meters away can see me while i am stationary and have not even fired a shot?

Under armour isn't active in PA and since FO4 PA is no longer hermetically sealed.

Fun fact: Reflective mutation and radiation auras can inflict diseases.

Marine wetsuit prevents waterborne diseases, not all diseases. Chinese Stealth Armor same story. Power armor do not prevent diseases. It's just a clump of metal and not sealed. This is also why you can have 5K rad resist on a PA and still not have RAD protection like the Chinese stealth armor or the hazmat suit.

make some disease cures if you get something nasty like needle spine or sludge lung, but otherwise no diseases are too bothersome, buy a sympto-matic, you can get them for gold bullion or off player camp vendors (highly recommended)

Diseases also clear more easily on their own if you have high endurance.

odd. i dont get any diseases from water or rads. only from getting attacked. im never out of my power armor unless im in my base crafting. and power armor is indeed waterproof. thats why you dont need to breath in it, cant get airborn deseeses, or waterborn ones. the game tells you this

Chinese armor in the game has long been rubbish.
So congratulations.

Yes the Good Old Days of just login in you would get a disease. Scope a Mole at 600 yrds and Bam-you got a disease .Made allot of caps and and a good living back then making and selling disease cures. They seemed to had cleaned it up a bit until about a month or so ago. Now I get a disease just by looking in the mirror no matter what I'm wearing.

I think that's a leftover from Fallout 4. It had a quest in a secret section of a vault with mutated molerats that could give you a non removable disease. Except they didn't have to hit you to give you the disease. So move, save, move, save, fight, save. Or reload if you contracted the disease randomly.

Maybe it's just because I'm a mole, you know flees and ticks always hanging around. I carry more disease cures than ammo.

So helmet and Armor do protect from air and waterborne diseases. I have perks which further enhance that. PA also protects it is in the flavor text. So you are saying that regardless Bethesda is giving me the Big Stink Finger whenever they want regardless of stats? BTW I can totally understand a monster breaching your suit that is quite feasible. But the other stuff is just garbage. Also I have been an avid player and fan since it's launch and do not remember this crap randomly happening. So I am perceiving from you that Bethesda has simply added an FU Code to the game when you are too good against your opponents.

Diseases are fairly mild anyway and can mostly be ignored without much impact. Parasites and Dysentery may be annoying for Overeaters/Gourmand builds but the effect can be nullified by eating perfect bubblegum after acquiring the disease.

There used to be a beneficial combination of rad worms, glowing pustules and Ghoulish perk. Every hit would cause pustules to inflict rads that was boosted by worms to increase healing by ghoulish.

BGS decided that rad worms would only affect radiation from food and not all sources. A move I suspect to cater to the 'Bloodied' crowd.

Plague Walker was also supposed to stop diseases from healing over time to act more like addictions. It was never implemented but would have made the mutation much more useful for extra aoe but also combinations like mentioned above.

In time you learn to ignore the disease notification as it does nothing worth worrying about.
