On the up side she might end up with some good mutations for free playing like that. If you want I can give you a couple hundred stims and radaway that you can pass on to her to help her out.
I was saving them to pass to my new characters on my 2nd account on MS store but I cannot access that account anymore so have no need for them.
Cook your food. Cooking removes most of the rads. For example most meats give 15 rads when raw and 5 after being cooked or used in a recipe. I don't bother running perks for taking less rads or anything because it is a pain to have to swap them in and out all the time when i am not eating and they are useless. Radaway becomes so plentiful that taking rads from eating is a non issue later on. Except for a bloodied build ofc.
Many players camps will have the decon shower which you can walk through to remove your rads. I have a few of my main camps on different characters near the wayward with a decon shower to help out newer players. The brahmin at the wayward and flatwoods can give milk which will remove a small amount of rads.
Honestly on all my new characters now after the hunger and thirst changes I don't bother eating until I am much higher level and i have tons of radaways. Only things i will eat when I am low level and trying to level past Lv 50 quickly are intelligence or xp boosting foods. I wait until i am higher level before running all my food buffs.
Rads from food isn't too much and should take a lot of eating to make a noticeable difference. Keep playing quests/events/scoreboards/daily freebies and the game will throw so much rad away you end up throwing it away.
When you carry a lot of food and drinks it will cost you your weight unless you use special perk(s) which is in my personal opinion just a waste.
So don't worry about your food and thirst bars / meters it won't affect your game play at all.
Have fun my friend ;)
Thanks for the tip about brahmin's milk. And of course I cook the food, but every ressources is a problem at beginning, even wood ! :D And of course no caps to buy anything.
I know about rads builds, but I'm so far from that, only started the game last sunday. And I can't play a lot because I have to take care about my wife and daughters.
Thanks again for everything, one last thing is that I can't play with a mic because when I play it's quietly to not disturb all my girls at home, I hope for other people in the game that it's not a problem if I join a group one day.
And I search where to sell/exchange my legendaries.... I sold many at the begining, newbee mistake.
Grab and scrap all junk and you will get screws.
Garbage legendary machines are scripped (exchanged) at the Lego machine that is at every train station, Whitespring Mall, NWoT, and The Rusty Pick. Scrip can then be used at the Purveyor to buy things.
