rogue robots in whitesprings

seems like theres rogue assaultrons going around inside of white springs killing players and they wont stop respawning

If you attack or damage any robot in Whitespring, they will all aggro on you. And they respawn endlessly.

It doesn't matter if it's just collateral damage. They will hunt you down and kill you.

Some people have said if you stay away from there long enough, they will "forget" that they want you dead. But most people just server hop and on the new server they go back to friendly. If you are on a server with friends and they don't want to leave. You can just leave the world to the main menu, and then come back into the same one and things will be back to normal.

oh i didnt attack them i havent been on 76 for ages and i go into white spring and boom a assaultron is going rouge killing everything and every robot even if u kill it, it just reapwns agro

And thats why this is the best place to finish achievements with robots... (bring a lot of stimpaks, you will need them)

I stopped 'helping' WS Robots for this reason. No matter how careful you are, they end up attacking you...

There used to be 10 times as many Robots there compared to now. If h;it one you could not even hide inside the building in a closet. All the turrets would follow you and you will be killed. Seen lots of battles in there. I got dead sometimes my self- no way to get your loot bag back, they would guard it with there life until you server hopped.

that's almost 2 years by now
it was a great farm for sure

just the beginning quarters of a silo is better if you want bot achievements

btw not sure if this still is a thing...
if you massacre watoga bots at a certain point gutsys would go after you

Yep, first time I went to WS, I helped an sentry bot fighting a SB. And then all the the bots came after me. Stayed away for weeks, I thought it was Robot Hell.

Watoga was a nightmare for low levels-run as fast as you can to the train station just to have them open the bathroom door and fry you.

Oh the good old days of endless dying-over and over and over, don't even talk about the 3 schorched beasts flying around endlessly looking for your butt to fry. WhiteSprings was great when ever I logged in or changed servers, It was a 50/50 chance to spawn in a nuke zone. Run little chicken run as fast as I could to make it in the door-never did..Run across the golf course-Don't run out of AP our the 50 Ghouls will always get you.

That brings back memories, then would have to pick berries for 5 days to sell to the different fractions (200 was daily limit for each) just to get enough stuff to fix my camp-AND DO IT AGAIN..
