No one is playing public events!!!

I'm on a lot. Since Mutated events ended its hard to find an event with players.

At least I could count on the mutated event every hour.

It might depend on the event, because I still see people doing public events a lot. Some I don't do because they're just kind of whatever, so people might be picking and choosing what they participate in? If I'm in the middle of something I just ignore certain events.

Because you can only do the event 10,000 times before the real fun kicks in.

The endgame is a joke. They went from salvaging the disaster that was launch with the return of NPCS in the world to then promptly throw it right back in the trash with such mindless content.

The endgame content lack ANY kind of creativity.

yup. i saw more people joining mutated events, than normal ones lol even "yawn" slow moving guided meditation had half the players on the map or actually almost all go there. Also lode baring was almost full during mutated. LOL that place was usually deadsville. from "mutated event here i come!!!" to..." oh...that one?" hmm i'll pass and do some crafting and scraping and buying lol oh i gotta do quests. xD

radiation rumble was NEVER mutated though. lol can you imagine? xD

edit -- its the power of acquiring more goodies yay :D

oh i forget. it is a very nice challenge to go to an event and see what kind of mutations. such as seeing people just dying from reflective damage, and being surprised by it. I died too. I was what!!?? wait..ohhh ok, and from seeing ghouls run 2x as fast, or those enemies that heal really fast close together.

the combination of goodies/ and mutated was interesting.

I'm a bit surprised how few show up for Breach & Clear. I know runs frequently, but it's the best place to get lead and uranium and other stuff. Not to mention a pile of kills for easy grinding.

When it works, you're right. About 1 time out of 4, though, all of the containers are empty. I still run it for the completion count and XP, but it kinda sucks to get no loot out of it except what you pull off the mole miners.

Everybody came to the mutated events.
The ones between the top of the hour were hit and miss. Mainly miss. (like now)
I was collecting enough T Notes that I couldn't turn them all in a lot of days.
Now? I'm getting less than half that.

I've seen all popular events being done by multiple people. The mutated events were really popular, sometimes even pulling all players in the world to join. Normal public events are back to how they were before. Moonshine Jamboree and Radiation Rumble are still popular. At least 5-10 people show up to do this event depending on time of day. I've not noticed people doing less events than before the mutated events. It's pretty much the same.
