Don't recall if they just spawn randomly or if someone has to do something to get them to spawn.
Not super buff but it's helpful at lower levels. Along with the animal taming Charisma perks you can scavenge up a small group of temporarily friendly NPCs to battle for you. Excellent for RP purposes and people who don't use legendary gear, as well.
*Other fun piece I forgot to mention and is rather unrelated, but you may like if you enjoy the vertibots. The Artillary piece camp item gives you signal flares you can use to bombarb a small area within the vicinity of your camp/workshop.
Be warned, other players will shoot the Birds down for funzies (myself included, their noisiness is scaring my wasteland child and robot dog and I did not invite them). Have fun with it,
Cheers!
Is there any explanation who is controlling those and why, I mean fallout-lore wise? Or are they just a fun addition to the multiplayer?
i should test if it works simultaneously with more workshops that grant them
fun fact: you can see them move on the map real-time
The explosion will destroy a large part of it.
i have done it BUT only on myself
destroyed glass domes are so magnificent blending with the scenery
point its trajectory and 2 players of the team hop on it
(ofc full control would be awesome, but i'm thinking bare minimum possibility here )
(and it should fall under the pacifist mode setting then and defensive turret perk card to strenghten its damage output )
idc bout driving in fallout, but the vertibird flight was very fun in f4
In Fallout 4 it was originally terrible, with the thing flying through buildings, and other stuff that made its pathing odd and weird as hell, they did at least fix that, to be honest though non of the maps in the fallout games apart from 1 are really big enough to require transport of any type.
but it might be useful in 76 as a combat strategy
transport in height of a team would actually be interesting
invest tons of flux to armor it up and give air support
after all it's a flying turret
(no need to pilot it, the vertibots are already doing the parkour )
point to the place it needs to go
point to it and you ft inside and shoot from the air
i'd love seeing more motherlode usage in the game
to reach deep caves
what was the deal with the Pitt, when instead we could drill in Appalachia further
so many SQB's deaded, but where do they come from ?
Queen Mother scorch beast perhaps..?
easy dlc right there
instances involving caves with different difficulties the deeper you dig/drill
