Collect Mirelurk Eggs Bugged [No Longer Relevant Can be Closed]

I get to them click take cracks, open still says take Mirelurk Egg on the egg...

And daily still at 0/3

Not that I really need the daily, I have already finished the season. Just wanted to see if it was just me. :)

The problem is this...they have already been looted by another player. It does the open animation, but nothing is in it or spawns because someone else beat you to it. Server hop or private server.

Today was one of the worst days of dailies tasks because everything in it was extremely limited by the server.
- Mireluck eggs
- Deathclaw eggs
- Rabbits

I mean seriously, put 3-4 of an item on a server then tell the twenty people on the server to go retrieve the same item.

Not just you, that ghost animation with those mirelurk eggs confused me as well. Ohwell, off to another server then. And again. And again.. :D

you can find a death claw egg in the Enclave facility basement and Deathclaw Island (although that one was picked clean every time I went by - the facility is not as easy but its spawn rate for eggs is 50% according to Lincoln on the internet). Bunnies are nearly always available behind Whitespring near the bunker and I actually found one mirelurk egg in a garbage can in the Whitespring mall. I bought the other two from train station vendors. Done...

yes had the same problem so i just used one of my free re rolls. not gonna waste my time searching for more mirelurk eggs. my new re roll was : Chew bubblegum. ^^

Swarm of Suitors will award Mirelurk Eggs which counts towards the daily goal. Completing it yielded 8 eggs for me.

If they crack when you pick it, it hatches (usually). If it doesn't crack, it just goes straight into your inventory.

Tunnel of Love event has couple deathclaws and nests to loot which might help too.

Except when it has already been picked by another player, It does not hatch, give you an egg, or count as being looted. Tested the last part out when I went to a private server to re-pick the same ones.

The real irony is Cranberry Bog has like six mirelurk locations, and four queens, yet none of those location have eggs.....

Again I am not hurting to get daily since finished the season, I just thought it may have been bugged.

they are bugged, you try to collect them, they explode and respawn instantly.

Bugged that it is not being shown as looted.
Not bugged that you receive nothing because some other player got it first.

after 80'ish eggs with nothing to show for it, I rerolled both and ended having to find mothman eggs... Think Im going to go cook some eggs in real life and try the lottery... You all enjoy.
