msi afterburner got me banned

So tried opening msi after Burner a few days while Fallout 76 was open. Now the secondary program that hooks into the game to show the temps, etc said you are trying to cheat. So heads up don't run it or you will get banned for it then they will tell you it is a violation of the alteration of code.

Even those all it is the stats in top right corner which every other game can see it not cheating. Don't try the forums either don't bother to help you further.

No. I actively use it and CapFrameX, both of which rely on RTSS - not bannable.

Not all MSI Afterburners are created equal. It is a common trojan hiding malware.

If people don't download from a reliable source who really knows what that software actually is.

No malware from msi website was brand new install had to be re-install. You have to run stealth mode to remove the hook from being seen with you all lying. Saw a 2-year-old video with my exact issue which means it has to do with either install start-up or computer bios issues, or detection issues. Not to mention had this issue on several games.

I would consider an infected hook yet if was infected my virus would've already been picked up like it has picked up cheat engine before. Phantom, peanutbutterjealous, and thebasedsociety I do hope your stealth mode fails then you get the same false cheat cause then it would not be a false claim merely you've fallen on deaf ears.

FYI I can prove I wasn't cheating, but there is no point if deaf ears can't listen until it is on them. This is not the first it has done it so might want to be careful it is an over 2-year bug with rtss.

I can only prove it once they show the data record they took from my pc, which legally they are required to show you so waiting. I need to enter my system log at the time that they found it.

Under EU law it states any data gathered under your person can be accessed by you or choose to be deleted. I'm a customer service rep who can confirm the data protection law and if they can receive a fine for keeping your data if you request for them to delete your data at your request or to receive what information they have on you such as retrieved pc data without telling you.

Once verified of course through security.

Has to reach someone above tier 1 support since access to that data is limited. Discord can only go so far. Do this kind of thing to know the basics of who I need to reach.

if others didnt get banned for that and they also have it, then something else is going on with your PC.
why isn't theirs banned? It seems mighty weird dont it?

it looks too that you played over 176 hours too; i'm not gonna check your over 1k games lol. i just checked your thumbs down review for being banned, because its easier for me to see the amount of hours on your game time.

anyway sorry to hear you having problems with the msi program. If you saw a 2 year old video with the same problem, and you had SAME issue with several games, you did not get banned for that with those several games? Only for this game?

its really not good to wish on others to get banned to prove a point. thats terrible >_<
(EDIT--- i saw @mooman's comment on there's a common hidden malware in this if you dont download from a trusted source) basically even that newly installed program probably ...and most likely had something really shady going on.

but yeah sorry honestly it had to happen to you.


hope you get it fixed and support helps you out. maybe when they write you can send over what they said to help fix it.
