What's that "fix" for stuttering and bad fps for this game? I forget.
I remember someone on the community talking about a fix for FO76 with the stuttering and bad performance. It had something to do with editting ini files I think?
My pc can run the likes of Resident Evil 4 Remake on High with a constant 60fps, so IDK why this game stutters. Its so bad sometimes. I go to walk and it freezes for a few seconds. And this can happen every time i try to walk or look around sometimes. Sometimes I get lucky and am able to get down the road a little before the next series of freezes.

capping the game in your graphic settings (GENERAL SETTINGS not in game, for example nvidia settings if you own an nvidia card), 2 options to cap fps (less than 60hz, 59-58-57 etc) or depends of your monitor hz, same idea, 140 hz? then less than this number.

Yes, there are solutions involving touching the .ini files, problem? its at your own risk and bethesda doesnt like it, so, best way is searching for yourself.

1. I have the game capped at 60 fps thru the Nvidia Control Panel. So i hope thats good cuz my screen refresh is exactly 60Hz, according to my display settings. Tho apparently, I can increase it to 71.91Hz. But I just changed a setting to have Vsync as adaptive.
2. Screw Bethesda. Lol. Im trying to fix what they seem to not be able to fix for a long time, for some strange reason.
3. I found a guide on here that links to a Nexus mod thats basically a .ini file for people with less than 8gb of GPU memory. If my setting change in the control panel dosent work, I'm going to implement this file and hope that it works.
This crap gives me a headache but its what I must do just to play this silly game. Lol

Vram is part of the issue...I would cap at 70HZ if you have it...I use NO ini adjustments and my game runs fine...If you are low on specs the ini can be helpful tho...And use an SSD always...a good one.

Well, I have 6gb of VRam (idk if thats enough) with the game installed on my SSD.
It seems that setting VSync to Adaptable in the Nvidia Control Panel has really cut down on the stuttering/freezing. I still get it from time to time but nowhere near as bad. And I didnt even have to mess with the .ini file.
