1. Open Windows file explorer
2. In the address bar type %LocalAppData%
3. Remove the Fallout76 folder
It worked for me! Good luck =)
tried a clean boot with zero programs running an still nothing. Its just kinda weird that I've been able to play on this exact set up before and now it seems like no matter what i do the game refuses to run.
- Check the RAM/HDD(SSD for failures and damages.
- Back the recently installed windows(drivers updates
- Uninstall or cancel all possible programs that could affect the game launch.
- Delete folder Fallout76, located in %LocalAppData%
- Reset the bios settings, but be sure you know a thing or two about that.
- Link your steam/Xbox account on Bethesda.com (link accounts)
The only thing that worked was to move my game from C drive to E drive; I do not know if the issue was the SSD NVMe (C Drive), but once I move it to E (HDD) the problem was solved.
I need to find another solution
NVIDIA 2070 Super and 16 GB or RAM.. few years ago it was working fine
I tried both of these options, as none of the other options worked. I don't know which of the two helped, but today the game loaded as soon as I did both!
Thank you to both of you!! I am hoping the next time I play, and I do these steps at start up, the game will just run!
