But you need to have all the cosmetics on disc even though you cant use 90% of them, because everyone else might have every different item or cosmetic in their camps.
And they all have animations, textures, and all.
I have several games that break the 100GB mark, and sometimes you just have to uninstall one for the other.
I make do with 1000GB SSD currently, I do audio editing, recording and other music related things.
That's already a good chunk of drive space.
Just now I'm replaying Red Dead Redemption 2, that's huge. F76 is active. Star Trek Online. A number of smaller casual games (you sometimes just can't sit down for a 'proper' session).
I also still have GTA5 installed, and that will simply have to go next time something else sizable needs to be installed as I am barely launching that at all recently.
Needed to uninstall Elite Dangerous for RDR2 already. Gotta keep at least ~50GB free for temp space installing / unpacking ops and record editing, too.
Point is:
Deal with it and uninstall things you know you only sometimes fire up, yes even if it sucks to not have when you suddenly do want to play it.
Upgrade your space or properly juggle what you have, all there is to it.
Sorry, didn't mean to get all preachy - just, again, things are not going to get smaller.
Even pretty average, not huge games are often starting at 20-30 and going to ~60GBs nowadays, and if I'm any judge (and I am, being so old that I have lived through all of video gaming evolution), it's only going to get worse.
Edited: Words
Edit again: I lied. My SSD is 1000GB, not 500, corrected that.
Still, currently sitting at ~80GB free and that's cutting it uncomfortably close.
That's what she said.
I’ll take things never said/heard for $1000 Ken.
lol
yeah, its because of the option to download the "HD texture pack" say 50/55gb?,did you download it? there was no difference at all with me and what i saw on screen.
iv a funny feeling that they force injected the "HD texture pack" in garfield and made it 125gb lol, that would be so funny.
it really would,it would be the icing on the cake.
Well, at least not to you at any rate. :)
