Sorry it's become a finger pointing session.
Posters do become sour at times...
So if they are correct that this type of antic still allows full event rewards.
Then you loose xp points.
All here must be high level players with no need to gain more XP.
Besides the xp loss.
I do enjoy the challenge to round around the event and try to do all event tasks.
I do believe that is an intended part of any event.
Or just afk if they are lazy.
Yao guai. Mao was someone else, also a beast, but not one that appears in this game. Freudian slip I suppose. ;)
These players are only helping your event.
Stop telling others how to play because they're doing something smarter than you that isn't disrupting or harming anyone, normy. Going to the other meat event is even easier than hopping servers, plain boi.
half a point for knowing mao is a "beast"
however, Cat's are verifyable in fallout76
mao is cat in chinese
yao guai is bear in chinese
mao guai is a pun, i am calling the bear a big kitty. lolol
y'know, im gonna go pet the big kitty but it scratched me?
if you climb onto something that's out of reach, the AI will try to hide.
so if there are players climbing onto their tent or the event prop... even if you're barely out of reach standing on a fallen tree -> you will have teh AI scattered across the map.
this is confirmed.
so really, if you think people who want to stand on something and cause the AI to scatter and then the solution to people standing on things is to create a little exploit to keep things all in one place so you dont even have to turn...
well then i concur this is an easier solution to standing ontop of something.
but like i said when i stood on the ground -> the creatures's came to me because the AI had a "path"
i even did this again last night with nobody farking about, everyone feet on the ground standing back to back.... the event completed just as fast as anything, no complications.
*edit* infact i just did it again, first thing this morning.
solo, no exploits.
just me in power armor that i dont even have perks for, a laser gatling that i dont even have perks for so i dont need to reload, and i did the event solo.
so, let me get this straight
you would rather spend your time thinking up an exploit and build a base around an entire event spawn point because you think standing on a tent to prevent creature's scratching your x-01 power armor thus breaking the AI path causing them to run in the opposite direction of the event
instead of, y'know, simply putting your feet on the ground so the creatures can path to you and then complete events quickly the way the game is intended?
have you tried that?
forgive me, but i think you simply cannot kill the creatures fast enough... so you get overwhelmed.
probably bringing a single shot rifle with no stars to the event... or maybe a blackpowder pistol. lul
-or-
you're in love with camping in tree's and ontop of buildings and have a very limited repertoire of playstyles, like one style probably, thus when that one strategy is exhausted you resort to building a base and think that's incredibly brilliant... because it's an alternative that has a result compared to the 'climb a tree' strategy, right?
i get it.
lastly, let me ask and please answer politely, have you completed "i have become death"?
or are you still on the overseer journey? :)
Chinese puns.. Learned something again while gaming.
It's convenience for the player base that is annoying to you personally; that's not an exploit, it's just you being annoyed at the base mechanics of the game. Which is totally acceptable, you are free to vent away.
But don't act like players are doing a bad bad for something so basic. You have a LOT more you could be addressing if this were anything but a troll post. See for your reference, scaled from annoying to breaking
+ Infinite reload/ammo exploit
+ Injected items/duping/server interupts/server lag (related particularly to console)
+ Vendor bug/item theft bug
All these things are real concerns that do influence the game. A player using infinite ammo is not something I would stress over. Someone freely perusing your inventory without your consent is something that might be worth getting annoyed about.
**If you'd played for long enough you know that Beths does mess up mob spawns at events with updates, or sometimes that's just how the events are made. Take for example Moonshine Jamboree. The enemy mobs still spawn in trees and uphill outside the event sight range; occasionally groups will fight world-spawned mobs and wander away until they die. This could be server based, as well. The meat events are the same, if you have soloed them as you say then you know many of the mobs will spawn far away and if they do engage with a world mob they wander off.
If you need a towel, also, I'm happy to lend you mine.
I wanted to offer my own thanks to the players who took the time to group up and rebuild their camps in such a way that would prevent mob wander and complete the event quicker while taking nothing from the other players. I myself had not thought of doing that.
Thanks again.
so answer my question, did you complete "i have become death" yet? :)
writing a trite comment liie this actually indicates you care enough to try and hurt a total stranger.
