trade forum. You're better off trying fed/market76, too.

This is one of the rarest items you can find. It won't be an easy trade; consider a couple god rolls, maybe a mire/bog healing recipe, another rare item AND maybe your unborn child. Birthed ones not accepted, sorry. That Traveling Leather Coat is pretty much the only rarer item in-game, so far as I know.

The few people I know with an asylum red would never consider trading them for anything.
LegionFist Aug 16, 2023 @ 12:52am
aint no one is even considering trading it for caps jus saying.
I have those but i can tell you like other people will tell you: most people don't want caps for that then only god roll weapons / gear but mostly weapons.

Like as i said in another post, ppl must learn there are two classes of items in this game:

1- The ones you can buy with caps, because caps are easy to obtain at long term, and at the same time caps become useless in the same amount of time, the items you can buy with them are generic or "low quality".

2- The shiny stuff: god rolls, ultra rare outfits (like the ones you want), rare plans, etc, this items are named trade only items, and as their name says, the owner of those items dont want caps, he wants same valued items, other trade only items.

How rare are the science scribe and whitespring jumpsuit, these days, btw?

For the jumpsuit is worth nothing, bethesda gave them like candies in the last season, and the science scribe got 2 of them in double xp weekend with 25 rolls (technical data).

Problem with outfits are the ppl, they only want the shiny stuff: asylum dresses, mechanic, responders jumpsuit, leather coats, outfits from the responder robot merchant, etc. for the other ones you must go to specific and rare players.

I decided to check Fort Defiance before i logged off last night and there was the red dress. Like everyone else is saying, I spent too much time grinding to sell that sucker.

It would be better if there was some sort of indicator on the item when we picked it up stating it's rarity.

Odds are over the thousands of hours I have played, I have scrapped or sold many rare costumes because I get so much stuff that I don't bother keeping track what is rare, and what isn't.

I am no telling this, and if someone says something we never talked ok? check a mod to change strings.

WhiteSrings Jump Suit used to be trade only about a year ago or so, then they added it as a drop Item in some new events. I'm sure they will Add the Red Asylum Dress someday.

Understood. But I play all my FO games Vanilla.
A tip / advice for the people who are hunting for the Red Asylum dress AND have the Fallout 76 1st membership:

You can check your private instance twice a day as long you get the messege: Building world, that being said, when you enter FD? Then do NOT i repeat do NOT pick up any other Asylum dress on the 3th floor. Leave it alone.

If you do this then you can have you Red Asylum within a few months... IF you are the persistence player like me and have the patience for it. This tactic cost me 3 months and did check FD 2 times a day... every day.

Errrrr, sir, you know about to reset items spawn? yup, you pick up all dresses you see, and then collect 250 items, server hop and scrap all, voila dresses (also other items too) spawn again.
