Which PA is the best for pvp? Hellcat? Or maybe T 65?

Then look up the best rolls for *each* piece of equipment - which PA type you use is more likely to hinge on that.

You might think you're geared. Ask Bloodpie or Phantom for a bout (respectfully). That will give you an idea of how far you have to go.

**In fact I would recommend following strictly the advice of those two if you can manage it (I don't often see them on the same threads, lol) and compare notes. Ignore what other users, including myself have so far as input on how to design your build. PvP min maxing has few routes to the tin can throne of 76.

When I'm on my PvP build I tend to personally use

TS E something gatling gun (very low damage, its mostly to dum down my damage vs people but it also does stagger as often as its possible to... sometimes I lead with this in PvP vs skilled stealth boy users to lull them into dropping their guard before switching to something deadly)

TS E something (reload?) the dragon - VERY VERY high damage, but just the one shot. I exclusively use it to take down players with hacked sets of armour

B 50c 25v plasma caster - first roll I had with one and its awesome and all, but mostly its for any PvE content I come across... super cheap on ammo and when I'm in the PvP mode its because I've hit rank 100 on the scoreboard (like I have now) and don't care about anything other than amassing some cores (soooo core poor)

V 40% power 25% vats chainsaw - a melee weapon I use on my PvE and just makes it into PvP... more of a giggles thing if I do any pvp melee fights

Q FFR 15r (IIRC) cryo - my ideal roll cryo - its able to hit 110's all day long and allows for the people who are stealthy and use jetpacks to get everywhere for me to still land hits on

TS FFR 15r Lobber Tesla - nothing terrifies people more than one of the last remaining legacy weapons... the damage that this guns traps puts out is literally impossible to convey [spoilers] lobber traps do like 1 damage to players but they look super neat[/spoilers]

AA FFR 15r Fixer - PvE and because it was my first god roll gun

AA FFR 15r Peppershaker - because I run stranger this allows me to put out some STUPID poison damage numbers, triple formula P and its just a straight line gun too

Camera - I tend to run with it out in first person, I SWEAR you move faster with that out in power armour, but it also allows me to take pics right away if I see something and drops peoples guard when you run up to them with a camera in hand

Q E 15r Railway - was one that I spend a good 2000 modules rolling to get, the Q E 25v one got me my lobber tesla so it was good all in all... probably have a few of the AA etc other E railways still kicking, I gave a TON of explosive railways away (including quite a few quads)

TS FFR 15r Railway - actually pretty deadly PvP gun can do 2200 damage in an absurdly short period of time if someone isn't paying attention they die... was my old cheater deleter with a 2-3 hit crit build was able to take them down without stealth well, but doesn't even compare to the dragon [not my daily driver anymore I think I stashed it]

I also have the super deadly landmines which can help stack damage vs very tanky pvp'ers
I use the big stimpacks usually, but I have nearly infinite quantums from hording them... never run into health issues unless they are using hacked absurd damage guns

Other guns

Something, Something -90% weight grognax axe reskinned to the scepter because style

TS something (FFR? crit? I don't member) something Mirv launcher (because... boom)

TS FFR something (reload? 250dr? weight?) cryo - I have it but its not a daily driver, it would be an alternate weapon from my stash if I came across some situation that needs it

V 50c 25v Enclave Plasma

B E 15r (or 25v? maybe both? with two guns) fixer - not a huge fan of the E fixer

2* Q FFR tesla - had a Q FFR 15r one but a friend needed it so its lent out and they've since quit so its probably lost to the void

Nuka Launcher - I'm not a fan of its use but its stupid powerful

Handful of assorted god rolls in the stash
Handful of stolen legacies in the stash

Would consider picking up

Executioners (or AA or 50% damage) FFR 15r or 25v Holy Fire (I play legit so I doubt I'll roll one all my cores are going to trying to get halfway non garbage strangler heart rolls) (probably as a PvP gun)

B FFR 15r Fixer (pve gun)

TS E 15r .50cal (ultracite, a buddy told me you can craft absurd ultracite ammo for it per stack... I tried a TS E x .50 cal and it ate my ammo so I regifted it to a friend) [thinking as a PvP gun but it also runs PvE pretty well)

AA or something 50% damage 50c 15r or 25v plasma caster (its non tradable and I probably would never roll another) [its purely a pve gun so when I'm in my max int build this thing slaps... like 2000 damage crits and they come quick... even regular shots kill most enemies with one hit)

Q FFR 15r Elders Mark (because why not, it might be neat) [for pve]
- Edit - That gun does seem quite good in the video - End Edit -

NOT a fan of

Handmades
Combat Rifles
SMGs
Pistols
Melee
MOST heavy weapons - energy ones anyway... the other ones are fun enough if weak
MOST explosive weapons - sure they are neat and all but they are annoying for all involved
MOST grenades - see above comment
Rolled q ffr durable and execut frs cryolator. Gonna keep both. I think I will be ok

Best tier is

Union - Full set provides poison resistance, legendary perk for fire resistance, PA makes you function immune to non vats and totally immune to rads

Strangler - Full set grants poison damage, AA FFR peppershaker is 500+ damage per hit and a LOT of people don't cover the weakness vs poison and fire so those are always good choices

Which leaves you weak to cryo

So you want

5x Assassins -15% player damage
5x Cryo +125 cryo resist
5x Sentinel -15% chance to block 75% of damage when still (or crouching, or jetpacking)

Really if you are over 50 points of resist against poison you are ok
100 points vs cold
100 points vs fire

You kind of want funky duds and sizzling style they make you immune to two elements
You kind of want taking one for the team as it makes you do 1.5x damage to the enemy

you want to have

Formula P if you want aim
Psychotats the 25% resist and bonus hp one if not

you want to have
blight soup
empath (and use a serum)
company tea
tato soup
gourd soup
the silt bean food that gives -% resistance to damage

either
Stimpack diffusers
Big Stimpacks
tons of nuka quantum

some camp buffs if you so want, but it'll be unnecessary by the time you don't die and lose them anyway

I use the AP restored on damage chest keeps dodgy going
jetpack on chest is less tanky but more mobile

Stealthboys are a MUST, and so is the perk... if stealth goes down you go down

As for weapons

TS E Dragon will one shot anyone with a critical to the face
Q FFR cryo is a mainstay
Executioners guns are good as its 1.5x damage not 40% its multiplicative

Thanks for the suggestion of using Dragon for PVP. Did a few PVP matches today and that Dragon deletes hard af even when going against a player in full assassins. I am using an instigating 50 crit. One crit to the face deletes. When they come back for revenge with full health it deletes again. Good times.
My 2 star dragon did feel way too OP to be fair. But I was going up against players using stealth boys and quantums so it was kind of justified. I refuse to use those things because it brings a fight to a boring and stagnent stand still.

I know a few guys with 'totally 101% legitimate untradable" assassins / cryo / sentinel strangler heart / union power armour at level 50-70 who troll wanted levels to bait people into fighting them

They clench up their fingers when I show up to say hi, keeps them stressed out when they know I can one tap them unless they burn stealth boys

instigating is 880 damage with a single face shot on a crit = 99.999999% of all players dead
Those who go absurd max health with everything MIGHT be able to survive it (haven't theory crafted max possible HP) so I use the TS E for 1100 damage and a sure kill every time

TSE/TS50% Dragons are dirty AF! xD 5x110 dmg = no one can survive, crits dont deal more dmg than 110 though but they are always hits even with 6% vats hit chance, thats why crits are amazing like that. :)

Tested the Enclave Plasma Rifle with Aligned Split barrel on it, it also melts people in PvP 6x110 damage xD
EDIT: Super fun to see people turn into green paste xD

Crits ignore all damage resistances, all perks, all effects like sentinel and do true damage... and hit at 99%+ (they can miss)

Thus crits hit for max possible damage vs players... which in the TS E dragons case is 110 damage x5 + 110 damage x5 for 1100 total damage

NON crits in vats do not ignore the armour and so CAN be survived by any OP pvp builds resistances

Without looking hard into it... I know I ran

320 at base 15 endurance
25 + 5 over endurance base from legendary card
25 + 5 endurance armour
45 + perks life giver
40 + perks nocturnal fortitude (vs +15 from solar powered but they don't overlap)
65 & 15 + drugs psychobuff
10 + bobblehead endurance
10 + whatever camp item buffs endurance (assuming we have one haven't really looked)
20 + underarmour (excludes PA at this point)
15 + Herd mentality and group
84 + pumpkin pie + magazine + mutations 25% perk
112.5 + silt bean puree (might not stack with pumpkin, totally different food buffs otherwise so maybe)
15 + silt bean endurance (meat might give a bit more but costs you other hp foods and I don't wanna look at meat foods buffs)
10 + bourbon + pre war booze perk

Probably pushing all the things I can think off

Total 796.5

its probably impossible to survive any explosive dragon crit shot to the face... and those who could would be very weak to conventional weapons
