Fire suddenly a problem for anyone else?
I was fine until this recent update. I had things shooting me with flamethrowers, but it didn't do as much damage. Now, not only are Handys suddenly armed with flamethrowers far more often, but I'm being reduced to near-death in seconds by fire floaters. Was fire buffed in the last update?

Energy damage in general at close range seems to have gotten a big buff. Single laser turret can kill me with 100% hp with a single salvo in power armor and life giver.

to my understanding with the last patch they managed to change fire damage to energy or something so its currently borked is the term we throw around :)

Hey, when you got the perk system arranged in such a way that's so broken that pistols are rendered inviable by the fact they share their attribute category with VATS (To name an egregious example), people just look for a way around that oppressive limit!

It's interesting the perspective of Europeans vs US when it comes to fire damage.
Americans it seems have a rather large disconnect with our understanding of the effect high temperatures have on the human body. Just an observation but games that are from over seas generally have fire drastically more impacting game mechanics and damage counters, while Americans ... well we're apparently fire proof. Not complaining.

Yep, since update, laser turrets take out Secret Service Armor and T-65 Armor, like you are not wearing any armor. You need to turn off turrets if you run a silo now. Energy has been buffed a large amount. Just go to Knob lake and try to take on the Mirelock King there. Make sure to have lots of stimpacks as you watch your life steadily go down. ??? Just changes the way you have to deal with it.

I spent hundreds of perk coins to fully upgrade the sizzling style legendary perk only to find out that outside of PvP it is basically useless.

Everywhere when I use it i still take damage from fire like nobodies business. Also the fire starter super mutants at eviction notice are coded so that what they are doing is not actually fire damage.............. so thanks for that Bethesda. :steamfacepalm: Eviction notice was basically the sole reason i spent those perk coins that I now cannot get back. :VGRUMPY:

Yep it all started about 50,000 years ago when they discovered how to make it and cook Moles...
