I know, I have FO1st and I love it. Been subbed since it became a feature.
I enjoy FO76 so spending 99/a year for extra storage, extra shop atoms, lil perks here and there, and all that makes me feel like its a good value.
Like I said, MAKES ME FEEL LIKE IT IS A GOOD VALUE.
Some of you people like to be cucked IRL, I dont. To each their own.
FO76 is like a story of NO MANS SKY.
Both were sh!t when they came out, both are AMAZING now.
Which is bad news for gamers
If your concern about playing on the public servers is the players themselves then I wouldn't worry. After 2,000+ hours I've encountered maybe 3 or 4 hostile players, and half of those instances were in the special PVP buildings which are basically the only place in the game where PVP is likely to happen. This isn't Rust. The game design is heavily stacked against PVP and the ease of server hopping allows you to avoid the handful of annoying players you might encounter.
That and a good chunk of events are very hard/impossible to solo without heavy cheese. You lose absolutely nothing by playing with others, you aren't really competing for loot with them as bosses automatically share drops if you're in the area. At worst other players might reduce some of your XP gains but in turn they make events like Radiation Rumble or Eviction Notice much easier/possible to complete. Most of your interactions with others will be seeing them at events, or if you make your camp visible on the map people will sometimes drop by to check out your house or buy from you if you have a vendor up.
TL;DR If you're looking for offline because people can be ♥♥♥♥♥ in online games, I would suggest maybe just giving it a try. F76 has a pretty great community, people are more often swarming new players to give them stimpacks and starter gear rather than to beat them up.
