There are many things that have a high cap value. A few things that have a high trade value. And a few more things that are gonna cost you a bunch and are trade only.

Bottom line is shop around looking at many vending machines. Then don't go by the highest price you see or the lowest. Find a happy medium where you make a profit, yet the item doesn't take a month of Sundays to sell or trade. You have to move your product or it ain't doing you any good to have it to begin with.

fed76 is garbage, Just use market76. best place to find price range is through other current players.
Sr Humungus Jul 2, 2023 @ 7:05am
Problem with market76 is, you must check a lot of posts to have a reference, all prices arent definitive, because is the buyer who decide how much caps want to spend for an item.

So, if you want something general, you can check fed76, remember again, only reference. Trading is a science, not just only farm x item, check a webpage where he told you a price and left it in your vendor machine.

Good traders (the one's who make a lot of caps), train everyday, check other player vendors, and know what were the last 10 deals about an item.

Is there any Plan(s) in particular you're wanting to know about?

Market76 has a place to price things with everyone seeing the pricing to make sure its an updated/recent price. Get instant feedback from multiple users with one ask. fed76 is so outdated and never had the proper trading prices since day 1. I have seen a bunch of shifty traders use fed76 to quote bad prices to rip people off.

Ive collected many plans and now decided to sell but don't know prices. For example assault rife plan in fed76 costs around 3k-4k but in nukatrede it costs 21k. So im confused

3K Seems fair, the 21K for an assault rifle plan seems like a troll thing, its never going to sell for that Not even Fixer plan sells for more than 11K.
Another interesting thing is "plan prices tag" mod shows that this plan still costs 21K, so...

3-4K is low (IIRC) Assualt rifle plan is rare-ish.

The way i do things is, i look at an item like weapons and plan or what ever and ask my self if i need this what am i willing to spend on it, and then put it up for that price :)

The community is in general very helpfull ;)

Fixer plan is 2-3k max. Very obtainable even farmable. 11k for a fixer plan? no way.

It is way more easy in general after you have spend alot of time in the game to know what is worth what :)

The community is in general very helpfull ;)

Damn, i left the game for 3 month came back like a week ago and now assault rifle plans are rare? o_O

EDIT:
I had to seach about this and this is still the case, super easy to get assault rifle plans.
You can get them from like 15 events right? even daily and repeatable quests can drop the assault rifle plan, its not rare at all.
Maybe yes, maybe not but i got only 2 during all my playtime. lvl 800

Just look it up m8 they are super easy to get ;) As i wrote before i have 10 plans for 2222caps and no one is buying them, people are buying other plans i have for 7777caps and even higher but assault rifle is still at 10 in my shop.

I only have 3600 hours in the game according to Steam, played on Beth launcher before 2020 though but again i dont know everything that is to know, i can only tell you that i am not selling any of mine at 2222 caps.

EDIT: The reason i am not selling any might be because its a really weak weapon and people know that, so it could be super insain rare like the Ultracite Calibrated Shocks plan and still not getting sold becuase its a super weak weapon.

EDIT2:
The Fixer on the other hand is a good weapon and that is why the plan will get sold at 11K, sold alot of them at 11K before :)

EDTI3: I hope you get my point in the last 2 edits? If not i can cut it out, lets just say the assault rifle is super rare like the ultracite calibrated shocks plan, it still would not sell for more than max 4K caps because its that insainly weak of a weapon, while the fixer plan could be like an uncommun plan it would still sell for atleast the same if not higher because the weapon is actually usefull, hope this clear things out :)
There arent any real collectors out there that dosnt have the assault rifle plan by now, just to clear that out aswell, but again its not rare at all, the assault rifle plan is uncommun and the fixer plan is still rare, not super rare but just rare :)
Yes i'm fully agree:steamthumbsup: btw 11k for fixer is good pricec. I was happy to buy it for 5K from other player

(Assault rifle plan)
Actually you are right I forgot they added them to mutated events pool too. And yes several things drop from a large combination of events/missions that are/were considered rare. Before the assualt riffle was as I said "rare-ish"

Fixer is widely available in shops all over for 2-3k caps. I give (and quite a few people on here) them away on here and market76 all the time. Not rare at all.

Ps Idk what your hours have to do with anything, I have more than you but it means nothing. Played since day 1 of launch... still means nothing. (no offence all good vibes)
