So, if you want something general, you can check fed76, remember again, only reference. Trading is a science, not just only farm x item, check a webpage where he told you a price and left it in your vendor machine.
Good traders (the one's who make a lot of caps), train everyday, check other player vendors, and know what were the last 10 deals about an item.
Market76 has a place to price things with everyone seeing the pricing to make sure its an updated/recent price. Get instant feedback from multiple users with one ask. fed76 is so outdated and never had the proper trading prices since day 1. I have seen a bunch of shifty traders use fed76 to quote bad prices to rip people off.
3-4K is low (IIRC) Assualt rifle plan is rare-ish.
Fixer plan is 2-3k max. Very obtainable even farmable. 11k for a fixer plan? no way.
(Assault rifle plan)
Actually you are right I forgot they added them to mutated events pool too. And yes several things drop from a large combination of events/missions that are/were considered rare. Before the assualt riffle was as I said "rare-ish"
Fixer is widely available in shops all over for 2-3k caps. I give (and quite a few people on here) them away on here and market76 all the time. Not rare at all.
Ps Idk what your hours have to do with anything, I have more than you but it means nothing. Played since day 1 of launch... still means nothing. (no offence all good vibes)
Assault Rifle Plans are a dime a dozen and not worth hardly anything.
Fixer Plans don't even sell for the 5K they used to. You can get those for 2K often.
Most easily obtainable plans are in every player's machines everywhere. None of those have value.
Yeah, I suggest you look at Many vending machine prices instead of going by those web sites.
To get a little bit of a head start on what IS rare, "Googling Fallout 76 rare plans" will help some.
There are many things that have a high cap value. A few things that have a high trade value. And a few more things that are gonna cost you a bunch and are trade only.
Bottom line is shop around looking at many vending machines. Then don't go by the highest price you see or the lowest. Find a happy medium where you make a profit, yet the item doesn't take a month of Sundays to sell or trade. You have to move your product or it ain't doing you any good to have it to begin with.
