Yes, putting it where subscriptions go is such an odd place for a subscription, lol
Top right of steam window click your username. From the drop down menu click account details. Then on right side click manage subscriptions. You can cancel it here.
It will stay active and keep billing you each month until you cancel. Same like most if not all subs. You can pay monthly or a year in advance for a discount. When you cancel it will stay active for the remaining time but will not auto renew.
i had to click on top left "steam" and a bunch more crap.
i would have thought such things would be under dlc since you can get it from the store page itself
