Whats the point of stealth?

i came back after years to see how the game changed and well...back then stleath build did actualy good damage but now i respeced into a bit of str and other stats just took a minigun and power armor and i can run and gun hipfire everything.

So whats the point of stealth builds in this game? it cost to much points its slow pase and your a glas cannon.

Another way of playing, not all like go with a walking can smelling rusty nails and waste garbage carrying a big weapon and inflating our egos in an endless loop.

I was using stealth perk and escape artist perk. Was able to walk past all the enemies. Including one round where an eyebot was even floating above my head without no problems

My Bloodied build is also based on stealth and like Mystic Zinja said you can walk past all enemies, you can even stand next to them without being detected. Besides that you do a huge amount of dmg / crit (depends on your perks / build) in stealth.

All these stealth builds seem to be overwhelming for this game and not fare to other players. Perhaps an Update can make them more inline to the Noobs who can't play them. No Stealth No Stealth--OH never mind, Moles are blind anyway......

stealth is a double edged sword here we have you saying its trash where and other threads will be on about ppl one tapping everything at an event and never moving these stealth players lol

Stealth worked well for me. The only time I launched a nuke, was using Chinese Stealth Armor and a Troubleshooters Fixer. Those robots never saw it coming.

Stealth is an RPG standard:

Thief (Stealth)
Warrior (Heavy Guns/Melee)
Elf (Ranged)
Magic User (Energy Weapons/Explosives)
Cleric (I'm lost on a Fallout 76 equivalent for this one :) Group healer? )

One of the Biggest bonus of my Steath Sniper build was since i 1 to 2 shot Most i did not go through that much ammo compared to other builds. Now with ammo droping like candy that is noit as big of a deal. On the practical side i like being able to explore unmolested and only go into combat when I choose

Because stealth kills in power armour with a flaming chainsaw are never not funny.

Stealth is always the most broken thing in Bethesda games due to the multipliers. There's no thing more broken than that. If you want to play braindead, pick up a fixer perk yourself out for max stealth, damage and vats and just press one single button the entire time. No skill, no need to aim, no need to avoid enemy fire. You can stay in one spot the entire time if you like.

You can tell the players that enjoy that playstyle. You don't need to see them. All you hear is someone using a tiny typewriter from on top of a building.
