In Union Dues end boss is very tanky, and in Ashes there will be lots of rads in the end fight plus groups of relatively tanky "mini-bosses" so be prepared for those.
It's a learning process with no time limit. It take around 5 runs into each map to be oriented.
Plenty of valuable junk/things too.
But be aware of the last part of the mission, it's relatively hard.
The stamp cost for the base items is way too much and will take way too long to use gear that isn't that much better than gear obtained in Appalachia.
There are a few plans such as clothes and camp items that might be wanted so a few runs could be fun.
Once I got the mod plans I never look at that content unless there is a score challenge. A big part of the boredom is the stupid battery charge tasks, remove them and maybe it'd be something to do on a whim.
I personally Hate the entire place, and there is very little incentive to go there.
If you're not getting decent loot out of them you're missing something big.
Do a perfect run, with a full team, and a lunch box or two, and the final reward for the Expo is 20,000 XP PLUS 5 legendary items. They may be food for the lego machine. But you are still getting 5 legendary items, plus XP, plus ammo and some other things.
To the OP. I would recommend joining some Expo teams first and following along to see what is going on. Everyone on the team gets the same quest prompts so you can see where things are headed. The only things the leader needs to do is talk to the required mobs at the required times, and enter/leave the interior location.
Yes,it's a good idea to jump right in and go for it!!!I Would suggest doing union dues first. And don't worry about dying...you won't loose loot. There's no timer, take your time if needed if you are going solo. Good luck!
+1 on the bullet sponges.
I bring a mini-gun shredder, to use a melee weapon. Doesn't need ammo, does insane damage, chews through enemies like candy.
