Lure weed is not found growing in Appalachia and can only be obtained in the following locations:

A chance to be sold by any vendor that sells food items.
Chance to be found in coolers and refrigerators.

why tho? is it that interesting?

I also saw that page, that's why I asked for, who knows, a reliable method to get the plant. Chew stick can be prepared from it and gives +2 luck

I'm fairly sure it grows in the Mire east of Abby's Bunker where the Anglers spawn. Sorry don't have the exact POI name.

That's the trick though, it may not be lure weed but an Angler.

The fortune teller machine, found in most players camps (free to use), gives one +2 luck for a short time. Don't know really how long it lasts tho.
