Would like a change to the Power Armor Jump landing
Power Armor is great and all. I'm not an avid user, but use it from time to time when I feel like it, or it gives an edge that I need. But one thing is really bothersome in PA. An issue that does not exist when playing without it.

The landing creates this cool animation that locks you in place for a few seconds. This also cancels out reloading, aiming and shooting altogether. An armor that should stabilize you as you play with heavy weapons and such should not make it less effective to use weapons in the first place.

The landing is something that was implemented in Fallout 4, it would trigger at a specific height that would normally give falling damage. Now falling damage has increased height trigger in Fallout 76 due to marsupial. So people without PA do not get falling damage, can shoot and reload while landing from a high jump, while PA is stuck in a landing animation.

Don't mind the animation per se, but it should be a lot shorter and it shouldn't cancel out shooting or reloading and such.

You are talking about high heights no? like jumping trough (beacon? dont know the word in english), from the xp mothman event and going down?, then you are wrong, i wont carry any pa and get dmg and stuck for a few seconds, like pa users...

Another thing to check, pa is like what it is, and gravity too, so, if there isnt any invention of anti-gravity then the mechanic is actually correct.

Talking specifically about marsupial jump. If you jump without PA you get no animation when landing, with PA you get the 2 sec animation and cancels out reloading and shooting.

And i think is correct because you are not carrying a "super heavy armor" on yourself, the users without pa only have a mutation, also, if you jump from a really high height, you will have the same 2 seconds delay, so they are equal in this specific mechanic.

Power Armor is designed to absorb impact, so it should not affect the user from doing anything else. And if you're going to throw weight logic into this, try to jump from the second floor holding a minigun and a full pack of ammo in real life and see how that goes.

All I'm saying is PA is significantly impaired vs no PA when using a normal marsupial jump. The height range of the landing animation should be increased to be higher than the Marsupial jump and it's all good.

Mmmm ok, just an improvement to be more realistic, they put mutations but left pa animations at "it is", maybe they will change them, but not here, they dont check this forum, try their discord channel, when i was there last time i saw a sub-channel to put suggestions like yours...

There is a workaround to draw/holster your weapon just before impact to cancel the hero pose landing.

Any action can interrupt the animation if timed right, such as gun bash. Takes some getting used to and is a workaround, but... wait for it... "It just works!"

if you want to remove sadly not all of the heroic pa landings but most of them then use the bird bone mutation .there still seems to be a percentage of landings that happen like that even out of pa (well at least for me it does) but it will make pa movement a lot less jarring
