I am confused about Mutated Events.

Every mutated event I have joined [use melee to kill , or they are invisible, etc] I use the proper weapon for it I get EXP from killing the monsters but at the end I get Nothing. No event reward ,not even meat or junk from corpses. Yet I see [expl melee event] people using Gatling Plasma Exploding weapons or Plasma Exploding Shotguns only , and they get rewards. What am I doing wrong?

This sounds like they aren't even receiving the event rewards.

I was at Mutated Eviction Notice and it straight up removed me from the event even though I was next to the Rad Scrubber. It eventually popped up that I joined the event but it did so right after the event ended and basically was like I was never there to begin with.

Some of these Mutated events seem to get pretty buggy at times. Not sure if it's the server needing a restart but there is a similar bug I keep seeing at Moonshine Jamboree where it stops counting the acid deposit and stalls at 32/60.

I am fallout 1st , No screen text saying the event junk or a Legendary pop up on screen either. Of course I am not getting anything so makes sense that text doesn't appear .Not even an Event Success or Failure screen overlay . I join the event using the Map Public Event links on lower left of screen .

Record a video of your gameplay, upload to YouTube, submit a ticket to Bethesda support with the video link. That's what I would do. In the video, show that there is nothing in the "New" items tab in your Pip-Boy.

OK 1st get software to do recordings of videos 2nd submit another ticket . Then wait for the current event cycle to end .

Anybody know a good Production Company, grainy video's are not excepted at Bethesda support, must be 3-D with good color.

Nvidia video driver has a recorder built-in, if you install "GeForce Experience" during driver installation. We are mostly PC users here, so many of us should have Nvidia video cards, which this game requires to run.

I know on the first day of events when was really buggy especially with the making noise event I often didn't get any rewards from the event. Know after the first couple days no longer had that issue. In general you should be getting the rewards even if you just stand there and do nothing. Also the packs do not show up in new or at the very least won't show up if have one. I don't know if won't show up in new since usually have one in inventory so won't show up in that tab since already in the aid section.

If you give them video and/or screenshot captures, the better chance they have in fixing it. Don't feel like this is a chore. You help them help you. Most of us don't have the amazing verbal descriptive power of Hemingway or Shakespeare, so it's always better to show them videos and pictures, which speak a thousand words as the saying goes.

Thank you for a video recorder location. When I run experience the amount of data going to and from my computer about double . Running a RTX 3060 OC , Athlon 5900x . But the game will freeze when too much data occurs with video during game . [requiring hard restart] Like turning while jumping and spawn occurs behind me as i fight something in front of me . I think the game is still running just I am out of sync .

I've recorded tons of gameplay videos for my channel ( https://www.youtube.com/@PCGamingGoodies ) with the Nvidia recorder, and my gameplay has never been affected. And my PC is apparently even less powerful than yours, since I use only RTX 2060 Super. I can record at a high bit rate too: 45 megabits per second at 3840x2160 and 60 frames per second. Look at my channel, my videos are smooth as butter. Tons of data are captured and saved into my hard drive while I'm playing the game and I don't notice any slowdown or hiccups, only server lags from Bethesda. If your PC is working properly, you should not notice any difference in performance while your Nvidia card is capturing, because it is designed to have minimal performance hit. So I would look at your PC for any issues. Bethesda can fix bugs in the game, but they can't fix all your PC problems.

Wait what...is this true? No party pack unless FO1st? Did I miss that in the patch notes?

1. There are no more Gatling Plasma Exploding Weapons.
2. How can you tell if other people are getting the rewards ?
3. Sounds like lag, you may think you are hitting something with a melee weapon but that thing is already dead.
4. Sounds like a bug, to be in an event area and not get event rewards. When you enter the event area, does it say the event title ? You may need to re-fast travel to initiate it.
5. Mutated Packs are given out if 3 or more FO1st players are present at the event for non-FO1st players.

Just check the mutated pack when given, if its green then server hop, the good one is the golden, and to have it must have 3 players minimum paying the tribute doing the special event.
