idk
Maybe John Denver's version is too new (1971). Most of the songs used in the game and in promos are from the 60s and older: Johnny Guitar, Beach Boys' Wouldn't it Be Nice ("The Hills Are Alive" trailer), Petula Clark's Downtown (The Pitt trailer). This is in keeping with the game's lore, I suppose.
For reference read up on The Wanderer and FO4.

hmmm yeah. there isn't a Flo, rosey, janey or any girl around (which refers to the guy being a player,) but the song is so upbeat. In the post apocalypse, you have to stay upbeat not depressed all the time to get through and shoot all the scorchies that try to kill you.
haha i just checked his other song, " runaround sue" .. he likes to sing songs about player guys and gals. XD
maybe a quest with a gal named sue, with that song...
"she'll love you and put you down' LOL
anyway thanks for the music update OP, nice to look at the oldies.
I find that particularly interesting. Because that actually makes Dion look worse.
!! i'm no attorney, so above statement should be taken with a truckload of guessing salts
btw being dead doesn't mean it's up for grabs
