npc shops are too easy to exploit and the reset time is too lazy that it insults the definition of lazy.

I'm going back on soon from a maddening yet surprisingly calm day from my day job, last session just left me in Grafton of my character positioned taking a poo in the toad waters. sorry, can't help it at times to troll!

anyways, I would like the npc shops like the one with the protectron to have better caps handling and faster reset times so we can all get caps more quickly rather than dealing with bouncy caps lunchboxes or random daily and local event quests that give the minimum of 10 to 140 caps. just bundles of glass can scam the robot out of his account and you got to wait an AGONIZING 8-10 hours for reset to proc. 4 hour reset time will help TREMENDOUSLY and having the robot have a supply and demand with commission function would give easier access market flow on what your buying and selling. 40 cap shipping fee for a 3 star fatman worth 800 cap from one station in watgoga to sutton station for example will also make the npc market more love than the single player fallout games, which are sadly worse to mediocre. plus, up the cap limit from 4000 to 10000, with each item pinned for later buy or sell from farther stations.

what can you lot add or subtract from this?

There is no point in fixing the caps on vendors until the vendors have something to actually spend them on.

The only thing I spend caps on is the 6000 a week for gold and buying some Nuka Cola for daily challenges. You too will reach that same point eventually.

Trust me I have infinite caps and infinite gold (well infinite gold-ish, I tend to spend it on mass lunchboxes), its not as good as you think it is

Essentially I have infinite script because I don't really wanna roll anything else, but I just keep adding modules

don't sounds like a exploit sounds like you are upset that you can't get 800 caps for a fatman but thats what it cost when a vendor sells it to you. The subtraction of caps is to remove caps from the economic. It is always a loss on your side so the vendors exploit you ;) .

Anyway caps become useless and vendors become useless unless you buy ammo to convert in a ammo converter or cheap legendarys for script or if you get a lucky finde. most people only convert to fusion cells, cyro, or explosive.

ultrasite ammo is what high levels use. (Just to bad the tesla and cyro do not use ultrasite ammo + heavy explosive)

most really really good legendarys only trade for cobalt, violet or crimson flux and no not the raw stuff, try grinding 1200+ violet flux.

One Moonshine event can max your daily caps by crafting gulper slurry x 300 or some such. Daily caps from vendors is pretty limited yea. Not due to the fact that 1400 isn't a lot, but due to the fact that it's so easy now to max it. Even a casual player can max it in 10 minutes of game time.

My suggestion: make it harder to get loot so you're not stuck with hundreds of stimpacks, grenades, food, chems and all that stuff that you just have to drop to get rid of the weight you're carrying. In just 30 minutes of game time, without even trying I got to drop hundreds of items on the frikking ground just to be able to play on. Selling em for more caps isn't the solution. There's just too much crap in the game. And now with the mutation events, it got even worse. I'm travelling to a legendary vendor bot after every event so I can dump those useless 6 legendaries I just got. (more like COMMON items ffs)

TLDR: Loot drops are over the top. If anything nerf that ♥♥♥♥.

uh? you have problems to empty npc vendor caps? really? just pick up all drugs you will find and sell them, using this technique i usually hoard a lot of drugs, npc cant buy them all and when i see a newcomer low lvl i always gift him/her with some good ♥♥♥♥ to make a nice trip....

PS: ah, you want unlimited money to buy everything so you will unlock all no? but tell me oh great god, when there is nothing more to unlock, when all players will have all, and watching the content updates of this game, why i must enter to play into this game?

Vendors come in handy for me to dump my max 40K caps down to like 35k or lower, in case someone decides to empty my vendor at my camp. I get 40K caps again repeat. I never use vendors for making caps just to waste them. lol (Sometimes I will spend caps at player vendors if they have something interesting, dont get me wrong I dont mind sharing my caps when I can.)

I meant the legendary machine. But I do sometimes sell them. Sometimes drop them. Whatever I feel like.

I have done this and they just sit in my vendor, never have sold. And I dont put high prices on them either max I have put one up for is 500 and it was basically a "God roll" Fixer. Finally gave it up to legendary machine.
