Bear Arm mods

Learned from scrapping or only through Project Paradise?

If I am not mistaken you can also learn them from the mutated packs.

Yea that's where I got the bear arm plan from, but after scrapping 30 bear arms and not getting anything I thought maybe this wasn't the way to go.

Project paradise event, after you learn the bear arm..

*for the event they show up only after you've learned the plan for the base plan. You don't learn any from scrapping unless I'm behind the update.

Nope. You cannot learn them from scrapping.

To get a chance at the Bear Arm mods there is one that requires keeping 2 alive and the other comes from keeping all 3 alive.

I just got the Puncturing mod last night from a mutated pack.

Thanks guys. I'll keep an eye out then. But most likely will get them through mutated party packs, because PP isn't very popular.

I have at least one of each of the Heavy mod and the Puncturing mod plans. I'll give them to you at no charge.

The obligatory "Why bother with Bear Arm?" post.

Why bother with Bear Arm? Other unarmed options are far better as they are stronger or offer utility via Friendly Fire and mods.

Sure, it looks and sounds nice but a gimmick is still a gimmick when all unarmed melee weapons do the same thing in the same way.

Oh it's for my melee and I have a bunch of options and I think this thing looks cool. Sure there's better options. My goto is the deathclaw. I do still need to get a chainsaw for this one, but I really want to use a one handed punching weapon/claw style.

So yea there's better options, but it's about flavor.
