how to fix no region ping 1:5:1 error

i need help guys i already install the game on c drive but it wonot connect

Go to the directory the game is installed on such as A:\Program Files\ModifiableWindowsApps\Fallout 76
Copy the Project76.ini file to C:\Username\Documents\My Games\Fallout 76 and paste it there
Rename it to Project76Custom.ini...(try run in admin mode before you fiddling about doing the file moving)

there is no file called project.ini also the game on steam so the modifiablewindows app is empty

Yeah those instructions are for the MS Store version of the game and not the Steam version.

I have had this error more than once in the past and it just cleared up for me after a day or two. No idea what caused it or what fixed it, but it just went away. YMMV.

Have you allowed Fallout 76 to pass through your anti virus and/or firewall programs?

I am actually turned off the firewall program from windows and i have no other inti virus program but the problem is still with no reason.
