2. Not sure if you noticed peer to peer servers are a thing in the past now many games have the company set up their own servers or at least buy a provider to host aka that ♥♥♥♥ cost money and they rather gain money then lose it.
Still can't understand would you rather be making like £100 or £1,000 per week, thats what Bethesda is doing by skipping out on server cost making sure they profit from this game is high high baby and so even if the game was dying at least they still making some what big profit.
3. I think you have miss understood this community yes there might be few who clearly really enjoy the MP part and pairing up with others, but not sure if you noticed but lot more of the community / player base just wants to solo this game i hardly even see groups of friends in a pack coming out of the vault. Soooo yeah i bet Bethesda would see that as a such a waste of cash to do what i talked about above.
4.
7 days is technically what the first dayz was, just a game that was hyped and supported but in the end will never be done and will never be out of beta. I know off topic in a way but for real 7 days isn't a great game to say this is how it should be done when their are just as lazy to well do things in their own game.
I still use my tent, Atoms, and Scrap/Ammo boxes to their full capacity so it's not like I'm giving money for nothing.
I just like playing this game with other people. Some are my friends I've played with for years, others are players I've just met. I don't get that on a Private or Custom world.
Only reason I still play 76 is because I'm using it as a multiplayer game (which for me basically means just having other people around, not necessarily actually playing with them). And even then I only use the pubs when events are happening like Fasnacht and people are everywhere and easy to find.
If Bethesda tried to release a singleplayer game that couldn't be modded it would die within the week same as Hogwarts etc.
I'm expecting Starfield to be as moddable as Fallout 4/Skyrim.
No great gameplay changes.
nobody is playing fallout 4 literally the games 8 years old i don't care who you are, your not playing fallout in generally specially if your online , you are on fallout 76.
its sorta like do you really think 1 million people are playing CSGO? don't kid yourself CSGO is a garbage fest game full of hackers and skin scammers, only people playing CSGO are the Degenerate cheaters that invest Steam.
do yourself a favor , the next time you see a new game. example Hogwarts legacy, consider the marketing scam behind it. steam gets paid to advertise a game they advertise it by lying to users telling them this game has players, in the hope you get sucked into buying it as well.
I imagine that fallout 76 most likely doesnt even have the 10k real players steam says it does, steam forum for fallout 76 consists of about 100 people who all tell us how bad the game is but never play it.
You compare 76's player's with 4's but let me ask you something. How many of the players on Fallout 4 are playing with and without mods? Fallout 76 has no mods and still maintains 8k players (On PC/Steam) and, again, that is still impressive for a live-service game in 2023. The people playing 4 are only able to do so because of mods but nothing else, if it had no mods then i guarantee that 4 would have even less players, or perhaps equal to 76 in the best-case scenario.
From what I read on your post, and everyone commenting, you are the only one who finds Fallout 76's numbers pathetic.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xHohazQl7Cc
hahaha.. ROFLMAO.. really?? hahaha
ARK has more players. ARK for ♥♥♥♥ sake.
Fallout 4 HAS MORE Players..
LOL if 8k players impresses you..
YOU GO YOU!! lol
and . BTW..
haha.. IM NOT the only one who thinks the numbers are pathetic.
GO look at Atomic Heart.
AND then in a few days after Sons of the Forest is released TOMORROW.
GO look at their numbers.. Bet you 10 to 1.. Even Sons Of The Forest will triple the head count.
Umm... hate to tell you but I can mouse over your logo with a green border and it tells me you are "In-game Fallout 76". May want to check your settings.
And also that he has over 3,000 hours playing FO76 and over 1000 hours in counter strike.
I'd like to understand this poo-brained logic that states a game is bad because it has fewer players than other games. It must be sad that you can only enjoy things when a lot of other people enjoy it also.
Did you even watch the video? There are other live-service games that are actually dull and dying off, the fact that 76 is still going means it has a dedicated playerbase. Does it need to be big? No, just dedicated, and that is what keeps any game going.
But hey, complain that a game doesn't match your preferences and hate the people that play it.
Okay cool, how many of those people have played the game? Haha, keep trying, kid.
