Secret service underarmor

I unlocked it in the scoreboard but when I try to craft it, it tells me I lack the requirements to create this armor. I have all the stuff to build it so it's not a mats thing. Maybe it just takes a while to register that I unlocked it? although everything else I unlocked was immediate.

Make sure you have the SS Underarmor plan learned, The one from the scoreboard is just a skin

The scoreboard had a skin for the SS underarmour. It was not a plan for the item itself. You still need to own it to use the skin you unlocked.

There was no answer when i started typing. Sorry I had to answer the phone briefly in between finishing my answer. Did not realise it put you out so much

Well that might be true and I didn't "pay" for it but the rewrd says "rare reward" and " nuka twist secret service underarmor" no where does it say "skin" or "paint" and the two or three spots after that which IS a skin for the hell cat says "nuka cola classic hellcat paint". you have to admit that's a little misleading. That's a bit of a let down, they really should be a little clearer.

Well these are not even skins really. They are alternate versions you can craft that require you to know the base SS under armour plans already to craft it.

There is no option to just change the look of the SS under armour you already are using. You need to make an entire new SS under armour to use these alternate versions.

Big waste of flux for something you never see anyway as you have armour and an outfit over the top usually. I have not bothered in using any of these "skins" for the SS under armour for this reason.

Maybe they cannot code it to work as a regular skin, but i cannot help but feel it is a little bit deliberate as there were alternative jetpacks for power armour that required you to spend the flux all over again to just get a different looking jetpack. Good way to waste flux for those who do not have tons of it.

SS armor has to be unlocked by Bullion, it's an end game reward and the best non power armor in the game. Some skins do indeed unlock the item but this ain't ever gonna be one of em. That's like getting the T-65 for getting a scoreboard skin, gotta work for your ends homie.
