Power Armor Stations Bugged

How the Hell do I finesse these things so they work?

Any station, anywhere in the world just locks me out after pressing craft or modify.
It really is game-breaking for me, as I can't fix any of my power armor or finish the excavator quest.

Try getting behind the power armor when you use the station for some reason it seems if your char travels through the power armor to get to the animation it freezes and lock you out. Weird fix I know but that's how i've been getting around it

I'll try that, I've had a ton of frustration with getting locked out until I re-log lately.

And yeah, there's plenty of space. I've been trying to use stations in Foundation, the mining headquarters, etc. I use power armor regularly so I always have one on me.

I got frozen just trying to get into my excavator power armor and lost all of my workstations after having to log off and back on. I was out of my private server for less than 20 seconds and gone. All of my resources spent, and that fight with the 3-star legendary scorchbeast that took most of my ammo...I really don't want to get it again but I really need fusion cores especially after wasting 4 of em on that fight.

The bugs ... are game breaking. Seriously. And Bethesda just doesn't seem to care.

I was having that problem every time I tried using a power armor station a couple months ago. I was able to get it to work by making sure I switched to third person mode and having my weapon un-holstered before trying to use it (someone suggested that). For some reason that works for me.

One of my characters is full time power armour and i never experience any of the bugs that other players are plagued by. Very odd.

Never put a fusion core into your PA with the prompt pressing E. Always press R on your frame and put the fusion core into the armour via the ammo section of pipboy, same like you swap armour pieces off the frame. The animation of putting cores in causes many players issues.

If you want some fusion cores let me know. I only carry one on me and i have had it for maybe 12 months as i have the legendary perk that heals me and charges my core when hit by energy weapons. Any extras i get i sell or drop to new players.

Every time using a PA station in an interior space, I'd get locked out and have to restart. Had better luck with stations out in the 'open' (no transition screen to enter). Gotta try that 3rd person bit...

If it is inside a shelter maybe check your FPS is not too high, it can cause many issues when inside interiors. Might have something to do with this power armour station bug too.

I mod my power armour inside my shelter all the time and have zero issues. My FPS is capped to 120.

I'm experiencing this exact same bug. All I can do is server hop to get my stuff back. I tried pressing both craft and modify but still no fix.

i can repair weapons with repair items in my Inventory is that not possible for PA?
If its possible then do this. My PA gets not much dmg i think i only need to repair that thing all 200 hour maybe :)
If yours is like that too and the items work on PA too it should work without PA Station to play
