So are hacked (glitched) guns like hacked 50. cal gone now?
I am specifically asking about hacked guns and not legacies because it would be funny if they took out legacies but hacked guns were in place. Especially because legacies would somewhat slightly even the playing field against people who used hacked guns.

That said I don't have any myself, and I've seen less used on servers.

I do see the odd legacy still pop out, and I've seen a couple nuclear missile gatling guns. They weren't super common before so its hard to say if they were impacted or not

They targetted incorrect weapon configurations. I'm not sure what, but it should include both legacies and hacked weapons.

That's what they claim, they basically put an anti-cheat in place.
I haven't seen one since the patch but I'm sure in time someone will find a way around it, cheaters will cheat.

As far as I could tell from the main site, illegal equipment configurations such as TSE weapons remain in game, you don't lose them.
However, the modifiers attached to said equipment stop working.
Say I have a TSE minigun, the TSE part stops working, the gun however remain visaully unchanged, though the player should notice a difference in DMG/DPS.
I suspect named weapons that have said illegal configs would remain unchanged [quest rewards]
Energy weapons with the explosive modifier are also affected.

Look up past news on the bethesda main site as I've likely remembered something incorrectly as well

This machine gun without a handle was turned into a regular one almost a year ago, after one of the patches. After that, there were some other, in my opinion, gatling with rockets and an orbital installation ...
Well, ordinary guns bugged through a broken connection had huge damage. There's always a lot of ♥♥♥♥ in this game...

"Due to the above, glitched Tesla rifles that spawn in at levels 1-39, which have 0 base damage, were able to deal billions of damage per hit due to an integer overflow. This issue has been resolved as of Update 34."

You keep posting about this ****en Tesla rifle. They fixed this issue with one Wasteland and the entire Damage/Weapon overhaul they did.

No gun now loses straight damage but a %. So even if someone did manage to get a 0 damage gun. 15% of 0 is still 0.
hacked items are still in game i have seen a few hacked armours and guns myself tho not as powerful but still stronger then should be allowed. so they removed legacy for sure now to kick down on removing the hacked items next but i expect a long wait is in order.

I just saw someone one-shotting firestarters at Eviction Notice, so I'm sure some hacked/glitched weapons remain in the game.

When legacies are banned, only hackers will have them.

Ripped from the headlines.

Did you report said people? If not then you shouldn't be here complaining about anything.

Edit: how strange before patch pictures were everywhere, now in these discussions no one has a picture anymore? And if you did see these you know you would've posted already with the amount of crying as of late.

I'm not here complaining, and why would I report people who say they have items.

1 - I didn't see them use them
2 - I know them
3 - They are collectors more than anything

Making a statement that no it seems very unlikely that hacked weapons were removed

Read your pwn comment history, you have a tendency to make numbers up with no source or its always "people i know" bs.

Or as a basic component of being a decent human being I don't discuss things that others do in ways that can be linked to them...

Ya know also a part of steams ToS where naming people is a violation
